The Melt — Restaurant in Tempe

Well I came here after seeing a Facebook reel on this place and then the good reviews I read! Keep in mind I ordered to go and I had a 20 minute ride home and so we all know fresh is best! I was going to do a 4 star as the spicy mission burger , I was not too excited about , but it wasn’t horrible, just my least favorite of all I tried. So 5 stars it is! The service was fast and staff very friendly! Prices are reasonable and it took only 6 minutes to get my food! The ingredients in the food are very fresh and the Place was pretty clean and the only complaint I really had was the parking out front was very minimal and I don’t usually drive into this area, but it’s by ASU so I’m sure there was a parking garage close by that I didn’t see. Garlic Fries: omg these were amazing!!I can only imagine how much better they would have tasted fresh at the table!! These are a must to get if you go and you like garlic fries in general! You absolutely won’t be disappointed!

Strawberry Lemonade: very delicious and refreshing!! I will get 2 next time as one wasn’t enough!

Steak and Cheese Melt : This was also so amazing and the red peppers in my opinion put it over the top for me!!

Patty Melt: I love a good patty melt and this was just good/great, not amazing,as this doesn’t come on marbled rye and if it did then maybe it would have put it in the amazing category for me ( I knew the bread would not be marbled but had to try it out)Please note the bread it comes on is very good, I guess I’m just a patty melt marbled rye snob 😆

The Spicy Mission Burger: this was my least favorite although I loved the fresh ingredients I just didn’t think it was tasty enough to order it again.

The pickle: great tasting crunchy kosher dill! ( I think it was kosher dill, I’m not a huge pickle fan but nonetheless these I really liked!!)

The Melt is one of my favorite burger places. It is hard for me to choose one burger place that is the king of burgers in Arizona, but in my opinion, The Melt is definitely a contender.

I have visited The Melt a few times since they opened their Tempe location. Each experience has left me wanting to return.

The burgers are some of the best I have ever had. Everything tastes fresh, and the burgers are nice and juicy. They also have great fries. As great as the food is, the best part is their milkshakes and malts. I have had both their vanilla and snickerdoodle malts, and both are delicious. The snickerdoodle malt brings back memories of delightful snickerdoodle cookies.

The workers there are very nice. They greet you the moment you walk in, and they are more than happy to offer recommendations for some of their food items. Another thing I like is when they offer pieces of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. That is a tremendous bonus.

The atmosphere is nice and modern with a feel-good vibe. I also like the cleanliness of the place. The last time I was there, one of the soap containers in the restrooms was empty, and I brought it to the attention of a staff member. They thanked me for bringing the issue to their attention and promptly addressed it.

This place blew me away! Atmosphere gave a great first impression with how cool and CLEAN the setup was even for being in the middle of the city. Next was the top tier service we received. They were so quick and willing to help us and it was like that throughout our whole time there, not just upon ordering; and we saw this same level of service being provided to everyone who stepped foot in the restaurant! I'm sure it won't matter who you get but if you got Terrance working for you when you go, just know you're in great hands. Whatever Terrance is getting paid, he deserves a raise!! And finally was the food, the cherry on top of an already splendid experience. Their food was BOMB, dinner and desert. If my stomach was big enough, I would've gotten TWO of everything on the menu! This place needs a 6/5 stars option because that's what it deserves. I need more locations throughout the valley immediately if not sooner, please...
