I came here with my significant other to celebrate valentines day early. The staff here are great! Our hostest started off the experience by being very professional and kind. We were seated super quick without a reservation. The restaurant had maybe 10 people at the most sitting in and enjoying the food. The decor is STUNNING. I absolutely love the floral touches around the restraint on the ceiling and on the walls near the restrooms. The U.V/black light was another elegant and fun touch to the decor. It made the flowers pop and added to the atmosphere. The lights above the bar are arranged in a cool way that balances the different styles of lights ( all thought the one at the very top with white light does not match any of the others). The walls had these lovely honeycomb shapped shelves with succulent plants and fake candles, it was very elegant. Next our server continued the wonderful experience by being effective, efficient, polite and knowledgeable about the items being sold. The Sangiovese 2020 wine was a much lighter red wine opposed to a bold wine. It was delicious, just not what I expected for an Italian red wine. The bacon wrapped dates were ADDICTIVE. When I say I could eat 3 plates of this, I mean it! My spouse enjoyed the arancini risotto dish. It was an interesting play on a classic risotto. The texture was on point but the sauce could have been a little thicker. The socie-tea drink was a little unbalanced but it was okay. The strawfashion drink was an interesting play on an old fashioned and I did enjoy it! My spouse enjoyed the Shrimp scampi dish with the added garlic bread. My pound of muscles was delicious. I've never had them served in a spicy way, I thought it was a cool twist on a classic dish and it was sooo good. The server treated my gluten allergy with complete respect and made sure all my items were served correctly. Lastly, my spouse ended with the brownie and ice cream which was a great traditional brownie. I ended the meal with a light refreshing Pana cotta that was set well. The citrus notes were very strong in the dish but still very good. I loved this restaurant and I would reccomend...
Read moreWe dined at this restaurant on Saturday, June 28th, with a reservation for six that became seven. Over the course of the evening, we ordered generously—multiple appetizers, drinks, entrees, desserts, and coffees. Our total bill came out to just under $700. We came to enjoy a nice evening out with family, and while the food and service were mostly solid throughout, the way things ended completely ruined the experience.
As we were wrapping up our desserts and coffees, my 9-year-old daughter returned to the table with a small ice cream from a nearby shop. She has a severe nut allergy and had opted to get her dessert separately. We were nearly finished with our meal when the manager decided to send over a message—not even delivered personally, but passed through our server—that outside food wasn’t allowed.
To say this was disappointing is an understatement. After spending nearly $700 on food and drinks, being approached in such a passive, impersonal, and frankly disrespectful way was beyond frustrating. My daughter is nine years old. It was over 100 degrees outside. The street was crowded with commotion from shows letting out nearby. Were we supposed to send her outside by herself or stand outside with her in the heat, simply because she had a scoop of ice cream while we finished our meal?
The manager didn’t even have the professionalism or basic courtesy to speak to us directly—he put the server in an incredibly awkward position instead. It was clear to us that hospitality and customer respect are not priorities here. The whole situation was handled in such an ungracious, distasteful, and frankly, appalling way.
I left feeling disrespected, disappointed, and honestly disgusted. For a restaurant of this caliber and price point, I expected better. I’m not sure I’d return after this experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others unless management learns how to show basic decency and respect to...
Read moreWe came to celebrate a birthday as a party of 13, and unfortunately, our experience was far from enjoyable. First off, we had preselected appetizers, but after 50 minutes of waiting, our waiter still asked what we wanted for appetizers—this should’ve been already figured out. When they finally brought the appetizers, there wasn’t nearly enough to serve everyone, which set the tone for the rest of the evening.
Then, the dinner took almost two hours to arrive. By the time we got our meals, people were pretty hungry and frustrated. And to make matters worse, dessert came out and there still wasn’t enough for all 13 of us.
We paid a $20 deposit per person, but when we got the check, we were told that the deposit wasn’t added to the bill. When we tried to settle up, it turned out they had included the deposit amount again, leaving us with the exact same amount to pay as the deposit.
On top of that, we weren’t allowed to split the bill into more than four payments, which made things a lot more difficult. And when we received our leftovers in takeout containers, they mixed up the orders, so many of us got their incorrect meal back.
To make matters worse, other tables around us were treated to a "Happy Birthday" moment with a birthday dessert. Our waitress handed us a candle and a lighter, which felt like a real lack of effort or thoughtfulness.
The service was terrible. I’m not sure if our server was new, but a party of this size should not have been assigned to someone without more experience. It was a really disappointing experience overall, and we won’t be...
