As an expert local guide I gave only 2 starts to this branch for the following reasons. But before we go to review the negative parts lets talk a little bit about the positive parts of having food here: first of all it is a clean cafe with lovely environment ( the toilet, chairs and tables are clean and hygiene) the waiters ( the hispanic ones) are super helpful with beautiful smiles and thats why I gave 2 starts otherwise I would cut more or give zero for the bad experience I had. they also have amazing vegan/vegeterian choices for all day which is relevant to the dennys policy not exclusively to this branch. so now lets talk about my experience: I asked for non-salt fries..they added salt on it..I was hungry so I just removed the salts by myself and ate simply because I could not wait longer. I showed the left over salts to the waitress later on..she was embarrassed and apologized but it was not her fault as she reminded them verbally and I heard it by myself..SO it is absolutley management's fault for not training the kitchen staffs properly ..they need to read the orders and respect the verbal reminders more carefully specially that time when they were no other customers in the cafe. anyways I also dont mind that much about this error which is common in all restaurants ..my main issue was with the tall white guy who was showing off all over and trying to act like a boss..he certainly had the worst eye contact with a customer I have ever experienced..he was simply trying to tell me by his gestures and body language that you are not white so dont come back next time..by the way im neither black nor asian ..I am people and people have different skin colors with wide ranges of tons from whitey white to blacky black... im tanned .. so I cut that 3 number for him and his atttitude..if you ask him he will simply reply: i was respectful ..yes he did not say anything wrong which I wish he were but he humiliated me with his body language and we all know that sometimes people insult by their look..please send my message to him: hey ..you are living in a society and society means diversity..if you dont like it then lock yourself in a jungle but sth to remind you: in the jungle animals do have their own diversity so if you are anti diversity of creatures then visit a...
Read moreI'd like to apologize to the manager of this establishment for how my friend acted
I did not tip because the waiter
Was very rude immediately when we started ordering
the table was sticky as if someone had spilled syrup on it
We kindly asked for hot syrup and the waiter said she couldn't do that for us and instead gave us a syrup bottle that was almost empty and looked like she had just got it from another table
I ordered a coffee a diet coke and a water and an orange juice and the waiter forgot the coffee and I had to ask another waiter for it
we ordered two fried plates the fish platter and the fried pancake bites and both plates were burnt the waiter did actually replace the fish platter
then the waitress as soon as we got done ran over to the table and checked to see if we tipped or not and of course I did not tip because I felt like she did not diserve a tip in this situation I'm supposed to be done I paid for my food and I'm supposed to leave but then the manager stops me and says kindly hey was there something wrong with the food because we noticed you did not tip and I said no nothing was wrong because I was ready to go home I paid for my food and the waiter knows what she did wrong and then the waiter brings up hourly wage and says "you know they only pay me 2.03 an hour right? I live off of tips"
I stood there in shock because a tip is not mandatory at all a tip is something I give to someone when I feel they did a good job in this case I felt as if she didn't do a good job so I did not tip
the manager was fine he was just doing his job and he was very respectful but the waitress almost tried to make me feel bad for not tipping which is very unprofessional
and again I'd like to apologize for my friend who made a scene and screamed derogatory words other than the waitress and the two plates the rest of the food was delicious I will come to this Denny's again because it's near me and this is the only bad experience I had every other time I tipped well because waiters were consistent and verrry respectful and I also understand that Denny's is not a 5 star restaurant and I don't expect amazing service but I myself have worked in a restaurant and it's not hard to be nice and treat...
Read moreSo today I decided to order takeout/delivery. I was so sleepy driving home from work. I knew I could not stop anywhere to get anything to eat. So I went online to order Denny’s. I ordered the zesty nachos, order cheese, sticks, chicken tenders, and wavy fries. First of all when my order arrive. My meal was turned upside down in the bag. The zesty nachos is spilling all throughout the bag, the mozzarella sticks was cold. I’m just so disappointed. The service is not that great when I eat inside, so I should have known that it was probably gonna be awful ordering it online then when I called to let them know that I didn’t get my check tenders. One of the Hispanic ladies wanted to go back and forth for me telling me that she put the chicken tenders in a box in my bag. Well, the only box I have is the box with the nachos chips came in I don’t have a reason to live. I’ve had a heart long night at work. I’m sleepy. All I wanted to do was eat my food and go to sleep now I’m dealing with a $47.14 charge for something so disgusting. I won’t even feed it to my dog. At first, all I want was to get the order of chicken fingers, but now that I have put my eyes on the food I want a full refund. I don’t want it. I’m gonna take the food back as soon as I get up. they can remake it or give me my money back. At this point, I don’t even want them to remake it. I just want my money back. It’s awful. I spent too much money to be delivered disappointed...
