First let me a paint a picture of why this review was actually heartbreaking to do. I have been coming to this location for a DECADE… and for years the food was amazing however these last 3 years they have steadily increased the cost but decreased the quality. It’s already bad enough the restaurant has a horrible septic problem causing it to smell like a portable potty. That’s why I have 1 star for atmosphere but let’s talk about the service I paid $15/lb for live crawfish cause they go up every year. I usually get 3lbs spicy crawfish, 3 turkey necks and 3 sausages. What made me disappointed the most today was the fact that they are now charging $2.59 for each turkey neck???? The same turkey neck you can get for $2lbs at the meat market and that’s me getting it not what restaurants get discounted for at whole sale. INSANE. Also, the sausages are $2.59 each as well look at the pictures how how they cut the sausages to make sure you don’t have that much meat, the way they are price gouging is shameful.. last thing they don’t even SERVE you anymore, they call your ticket and you have to go up to the TakeOut Bar and bring your food to your table we had to ask for water, I just don’t understand how they plan to stay in business at this pace.

First time here, it is a small spot but it is roomy inside. Kinda pricey but they had the Astros game on so that evened it out I guess. Got our drinks then seated ourselves after we ordered. We got Crab and Shrimp with sides. Our food was out pretty quickly, we were the only ones there at first. Others started to show up after we sat down and they seemed to get their orders in a timely manner as well. The flavor was very good, for some reason the Crab was a little difficult to separate from the shell but we managed. We brought our own tools for the Crab legs so not sure if they give those out. I got spicy and my wife got medium, she complained that hers did not have that much flavor. I liked mine the spice seemed medium but I like spicy, if I go again I will try their hottest and see what's up, I just hope the price of crawfish is lower than $10/lb.

Tonight my husband and I went on a double date with friends here... and WORST RESTAURANT IVE EVER BEEN TOO. First of all the place was so cold... it's like they chose between paying the cable bill and the gas bill. Its 20 degrees outside and i swear it may have been warmer on the streets. Even our waitress complained how it was really cold and wished they had a heater. We shivered the entire time... everyone did. So this place had NO heat at all. We said screw it were already here lets just order because we really wanted crawfish. We sit and the waitress was mediocre at best but were not faulting her... she cant focus when shes freezing! We order crawfish and ask for a drink menu and guess what no liquor.. but they had beer so thats ok? i guess. We get 9pds between us and you guessed it... TERRIBLE. The crawfish were NO GOOD. Like they WERE NOT LIVE CRAWFISH... either dead mixed in with living and/or frozen. They were soft and squishy... and i some just looked ROTTEN. I ate one not really looking and it tasted like it had been dead long before the "boil". Sour... it tasted sour. I was SO DONE AFTER THAT. I threw more crawfish away then what i actually ate... there were 5pds uneaten due to the disgust. My husband order spicy wings as well they were really cheap wings because they were littered with gristle and bone where it should have been meat. Extremely small tables youd think more attentive staff to clear the mess as it comes. Nope. and when i asked the waitress if the crawfish was live or frozen she said it was LIVE... I let her know my concerns and she said yeah customers have BEEN MAKING THE SAME COMPLAINTS. So casually... and they are still serving food that is NOT up to par. How despicable?! It literally made my stomach turn.. I've been feeling ill now; stomach is absolutely turned and nauseous. I mean we all want to support small businesses etc but not at the risk of being seriously harmed. MY friends and my husband and I will NEVER be patrons of this business again because we don't want to get sick again or be charged a 170$ tab that is NOT worth it!! We paid a business to POISON us tonight and we are definitely reporting this so that a thorough inspection can be done! This is horrendous! STAY AWAY...

WARNING: Don't do it! Don't go! This is not a place to look for a great, good or mediocre meal. OMG the place smells upon walking in. Its not a good smell at all...like backed up drains and plumbing. Now this review is putting things modestly! If the smell doesn't turn you around....be careful what you order. I tried a large variety of foods. These are the items I ordered: Large snow crabs; turkey necks, special rice with crawfish, crabmeat and shrimp, hush puppies, chicken wings and rice, catfish-shrimp and rice, a fountain drink and a bottle of beer. Pros: the bottle of beer was great; the staff was friendly. The chicken wings were off the chain, fried to perfection...small portion for the money they charge. The taste of the fish and shrimp was off the chain...good batter on all. The hush puppies were SOOOO GOOD! CONS: the smell got worse despite the attempts of high revolving ceiling fans to shift it around. When you order rice with your meals be prepared to eat a nice domed shaped rice that taste a little old. It was after 5 pm, that may have been the problem. The Turkey Necks tasted like literal poop and was not seasoned. The special rice with the shrimp, crab meat and crawfish will leave you trying to find said crab meat and crawfish. Tables were dirty and dusty. Check your glass with the fountain drinks. Snow crab legs were supposed to be boiled in seasoning and seasoned afterward.....not the case at all. They tasted like they were microwaved with no meat on the main part and seasoned tossed on them afterward and were rubbery. Upon quietly bringing this up to the manager...her response was...."There's nothing I can do....We've already charged you"...there was an attempt to prepare something else...but I didn't risk that. She didn't offer money back and when I asked could she provide a credit so that I could return, she said...we don't do that. Seriously they could have kept my name in a book or something and offered a meal or discount upon return. But I didn't sweat it....I told her...I have to count this visit and money spent as a true LOSS. I spent over $50.00 to be disappointed. Save yourselves and find a real...
