Finally, Big Sis Texas, EB, and I could meet up and talk! She recommended Kung Food Café because it was close to her work, had great food, not overly crowded and great to actually have some conversations. All of this is true! Mr. G greeted us right when we came in. Yes, a familiar face. A customer of my former employer!!! Drink orders were quickly taken. EB didn't need to look at the menu because she comes here on a fairly regular basis. I needed a little time though. EB ordered a small Egg drop soup and Sautéed String Bean Szechuan Style with added beef. I chose the 2 Egg rolls, then Sweet and Sour Delight (pork, chicken shrimp) with fried rice. 😋 The meal was good and plentiful!!! Had to take a so-called "doggie bag" home. (Had it this evening and have one more serving left!!! You can't even buy groceries for 3 meals for the price I paid for this meal!!! 😉😁) Mr. G was open, friendly and attentative and yet discreet... he realized we had some serious catching up to do! The whole set up was just perfect for us! Enjoy this little tucked away restaurant. I am sure, you would enjoy it 😊!

Previous review: I ordered for pick up thru website. It was easy! Vegetarian options available. Friendly staff. I got tofu general TSO... Everyone makes this dish in different ways. This restaurant does it non breaded. Veg lo mein was good but I do not recommend the fried rice. No egg, no veggies, just rice fried in oil and soy sauce, not tasty. Update: 3/27/25 I don't know why I gave this place another try. If you have digestive issues this place is great because the food is swimming in oil and will slip right thru you. Nasty oily tasteless mess! Not just that, counter staff tonight wasn't the friendliest...

Excited to try a new location only to be disappointed. Rice was okay but I couldn't really get a feel for it due to the DEAD FLY I found in my food.😔 Definitely not a fan I couldn't even eat my chicken because it was still pink on the inside. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR FOOD here before you EAT‼️

I was super hungry on a Wednesday night and decided to get Asian food. I saw this place had OK ratings on GrubHub and decided to give them a shot. I ordered the Combo Pad Thai with a Dr. Pepper. My wife ordered the chicken lo mein. When my food arrived to me the bag was stapled shut so I tipped my driver and they left. After they left I opened my bag and found my drink was missing. I called my driver thinking they left it in the vehicle, but my driver stated "they told me everything was in the bag". I don't need my drink, because I don't mind water with a good meal... Here comes the issue; the pad Thai was not pad Thai. I loveeee Thai food and can tell you this was noodle slop with over cooked meat. There was 0 flavor which sometimes can be hidden by some heat unfortunately there was no heat that was advertised. My wife said her meal was fine and tasted like mall food and didn't want to eat leftovers. So if you want ok priced food where they miss items and at best is mall food, but at worst in inedible and wrong;...

The crab puff tasted fishy and so sweet at the same time, caught me off guard and don't recommend at all. I wanted the orange beef off of the specialty menu but for what ever reason they wouldn't do it. The white rice here was weird, didn't taste like the homemade sticky Jasmine white rice I make at home or have at most Chinese places. It was very dry. The sweet and sour chicken was pretty good and you get a good amount for $10, although a little greasy. The teriyaki chicken was actually pretty good, both in flavor and cost at 6.99 for 6 sticks. The lo mein looked unappetizing so I didn't try it but the person it was for didn't eat much of it (it was their whole dinner) and didn't comment on it being good, which they normally do if they enjoy something. Over all I probably wouldn't eat here again unless I was in a pinch for their chicken sticks or sweet and sour chicken and didn't want to drive more than a few miles down the road. Otherwise its just...
