Update: I really did try to give this place benefit of the doubt because my kids and family love this restaurant and love canes, I personally hate canes. In my review below you can see I don't think that's subpar un seasoned chicken is worth this price or the wait. But today I was ticked off even further because once a week my kids and husband request canes. And usually it's my husband that will go to pick it up, but once again I was sacked with picking it up and I hate the fact that if you order a 25 tailgate or a 50 tailgate, they make you wait at least 25 minutes to get your food. In the meantime they served all 13 cars behind ?me the same chicken that would be in my box. When I asked the boy about it today he said "oh they just want to make sure it's all fresh and they make it fresh when you order that". He also apologized, and it's not his fault, but management and the owner need to get it together. The same "fresh" chicken you're giving the people behind me and increments of 10, 10, 5, can all be combined into my 25 box and let me go home. Next time I'm not moving forward to the stop sign. Next time I'm not parking in the lot. Next time I'm not driving around to the front and all that. Put my subpar, unseasoned chicken in my metal box, and let me go. I am penalized for ordering a 25 instead of two tens and a five, and it's absolutely ridiculous for the same chicken that you're serving the people behind me in a quicker manner when I've spent more money.
I actually don't love this location but it is close. For me, their chicken is subpar in general. it's not seasoned, it's just chicken. The dipping sauce is good and their fries are good as well as their sweet tea. This location is filled with teenagers and some of them are friendly and some of them were not. At one point which went through the drive-thru and I was in the backseat, one of them tried to hit on my husband lol. Read moreAfter initially arriving to establishment I knew there would be a wait due to the time of day we got there “lunch rush”. I place my order like usual, the person behind the counter gave me the wrong size drink, which was not a big deal, it happens. But I did notice the person taking the order had long hair in front of shoulders so when she did reached under the counter to get the ice, her hair almost went into the cup she was about to hand me. Also the fact that the few tables that were available were dirty, again reasonable for the time of day, might have been short staffed, who knows. As I waited for my order, more and more people came in. I mentioned to my friend, “I wounded how long the wait actually is?” That’s when we started to pay attention to when someone placed their order to the time they actually got it. Few order go by, thinking mine should be up next. Then noticed people that came in after me started to get their orders. Thought they just had smaller order. After the second and third order goes by, that’s when I go to the counter and tell them what is going on. Saw that there was no order on screen, they just went over it. The same person that took my order, then goes to the back and got a 3 finger combo plate quick. Keep in mind I ALSO had a 6 pcs “caniac combo”. After her handing me the first plate and telling her about the other plate, she rolled her eyes at me, telling the person that plates the food, to make other plate. That young man after making it just tossed the plate to her, which then she tosses to the front counter where I was still waiting at. Read moreCame in on drive thru and ordered a box combo with no slaw extra toast and extra canes sauce. On my way home I checked my food and they gave me a three piece meal with no extra toast or sauce. Not to mention 3 tenders smaller than the size of a toddlers finger. Went back in 5 minutes after I received my order and told the employee it was incorrect. Without even checking my bag he proceeds to tell me it’s correct since it’s in the box that comes with the box combo. He then brings out Julia who I’m assuming is the shift lead for that night. She opens my box with her bare hands and says it’s right since she was checking the accuracy of the orders going out. Told her she can check her cameras if she is so confident that it’s right. Waited 15 minutes and she comes back and says I’m in the wrong. At this point my food is cold, has been touched, and is incorrect. I didn’t even argue it and left without a refund. For her to lie and say she checked her cameras is unacceptable. This is the third time this has happened at this location and I wasn’t going to led it slide this time but obviously this location needs that extra $12 that they robbed from me if they aren’t going to give me what I ordered.
