Came here with a friend for the first time. After reading reviews we decided to give it a try, as they were all pretty good! Sit down and immediately are asked if we are ready to order (before the server even asked about drinks). We told him that we needed some time still, and then once he came back to get our order we ordered and he began to harass us about what we were ordering. He was being very pushy telling us to order more and get desserts when we hadn't even eaten yet. The server was uncomfortably close to us when we were ordering. After telling him at least 5 times that we only wanted what we had ordered, he brings out a plate with some thing that we didn't know what it was and said it was "complimentary." After he dropped off the dish, he stood there as if he was waiting for us to eat it with him standing there- he even proceeded to say something about us trying it. At this point me and my friend were both extremely uncomfortable and didn't even know what to do. Our food was brought to the table by someone else, and before we even touched any of the food we could see our server acting extremely suspicious speaking with other employees. He was covering his mouth while talking, laughing, creepily staring at us and pointing- not to mention the fact that once we took a few bites he would watch us eat the whole time as if he were waiting for something to happen. Trying to get out of there, we only took a few bites and then asked for a check and to go boxes. He again made a comment about the dish that he had brought out for us as a "complementary" thing and was asking us if we were going to eat it. We told him we were not interested but thanked him anyways which led to him getting upset and he picked up the plate and basically threw it across the table. Overall, this was the worst experience in the food industry that I have ever had. Me and my friend have never felt so unsafe and uncomfortable, needless to say at a restaurant in a public setting. At one point we even contemplated asking a couple across the restaurant from us for help as we did not know how to get out of the situation. As two young woman this is completely unacceptable to even feel half of how we felt at...

When I first walked past it, I thought it was closed. One of their neon signs by the door was not on. I'm happy I checked the door because the food was pretty good. Not outstanding, but I will certainly come back again. Full review below.
I ordered the chicken tika masala and some chicken momos. The order took a reasonable amount of time to arrive and immediately you can tell that the chicken momos are made by hand. Steamed, served with delicious sauce. The pastry was soft and very consistent. Absolutely delicious.
The chicken tika masala was unexpected. I was not prepared for the taste of extra butter that diluted the rest of the flavours and drowned out the saffron rice, but it was pleasant in its own way nonetheless. My two complaints are easy to resolve - I did have a small hair in the rice, but I'm not too fussy (it's not like I'm in Chef Gordon Ramsays restaurant) and just removed it. The chunks of chicken were massive, but hey, that's why you get cutlery. Not much of an issue, but figured it is worth to point it out.
When I walked in, the staff greeted me very warmly, but I elected to eat outside because I noticed when I walked in that the floor was very sticky. Not a 100% sure why, and there was nothing that I stepped in personally, but I decided to eat outside on that sole feeling of having my boots stick to the floor.
Pun absolutely intended.
That was not a very attractive quality for me. My servers were reasonably polite - they asked to fill my water and check with me from time to time. It was surprisingly slow on a Sunday afternoon, guessing because of the aforementioned neon sign but uncertain.
Overall, the food was vibrant and good. The momos were definitely the highlight for me. I will definitely be coming...
Read moreBeen to all the locations and used to love this one the most and now it is so bad I'll never return. I ordered everything medium and all the dishes were extremely bland with no flavor at all! Not even a hint of spice. The waiter didn't check on us once. Instead, several employees congregated at the front the whole time and stared at us the entire time speaking in their language. We felt like we were on display. We also didn't get the usual poppadom to snack on and I never got a refill on my chai. On top of that the atmosphere was anything but nice or authentic. Boxes, junk, and bulk food items were scattered everywhere and the only thing I could smell were strong aromas of cleaners. The entire experience was a bust. I used to drive 30 mins to go to the location and it was so horrible this time I'm never coming back again. Don't know what happened to you guys, but whatever you've done you...
