I was just over at this Ziggis with three of my friends, and we ordered four drinks and one burrito. When I pulled up to order, I had to wait a little less than five minutes for someone to take our order. I recited our order, at a comfortable pace, and I ended up having to repeat myself several times. I had to ask them to repeat the order back to me, and they missed a drink. Finally after a confusing back and forth they got it right. We pulled to the window and had to wait another four minutes or so until they came out for the payment. The person at the window had no name tag, and honestly their demeanor was uncomfortable and they seemed like they did not want to be there. She gave us three of our drinks and the burrito, but I had to ask for the salsa (that I initially ordered) and I had to ask again for the fourth drink. And lastly they forgot to put any stickers in our cups which if I'm being honest, is the highlight of the Ziggis experience. I'm not usually the type to write reviews like this but honestly the experience left me with a bad vibe and I found myself avoiding this location a lot because of their customer service and the way they make their drinks. In the past I've ordered the frozen spicy chai and it tasted like watered down frozen milk, it was so disgusting I had to go to the location on 128th and Quebec to...
Read moreZiggi's Coffee is a cozy spot that's perfect for grabbing a quick breakfast or a leisurely morning coffee. While they offer a variety of breakfast options, including bagel sandwiches and breakfast burritos, the quality can be hit or miss.
Let's start with the positives. The bagel sandwiches at Ziggi's Coffee are fantastic. With a variety of toppings and spreads to choose from, you can customize your sandwich to your liking. The bagels are always fresh and toasted to perfection, making for a satisfying and flavorful breakfast option. Whether you're in the mood for something savory like bacon and egg or something more indulgent like a cream cheese and lox, Ziggi's bagel sandwiches won't disappoint.
However, the same cannot be said for their sausage breakfast burrito. Unfortunately, the burrito falls short in terms of taste and quality. The sausage lacks flavor, and the overall combination of ingredients feels underwhelming. While it's filling enough to tide you over until lunch, it lacks the wow factor that you'd hope for in a breakfast burrito.
Despite the inconsistency in the breakfast offerings, Ziggi's Coffee still remains a charming spot to grab your morning caffeine fix. The friendly staff and inviting atmosphere make it a great place to start your day, especially if you opt for one of their delicious...
Read moreMy husband and I first discovered Ziggi's way back in the day when they were in downtown Longmont. We were dating and would meet there to study. Their hot chocolate is to die for!!
Fast forward and we move close to this one. Yay!!! Hadn't been close to one in years. In the move our coffee machine broke, no worries I'll go to Ziggi's. NOPE!!! These girls are rude, ALWAYS rude!! I've been multiple times and have not had one nice interaction with any of them. It's like they hate working there or something. SEVERAL times they are out of coffee!!?? What? How? They don't keep up on brewing coffee. I do not like dark roast, so always ask for medium and in several occasions they have told me they are out and if I'd like to wait they will brew some. Shouldn't that just be checked on and a new batch brewed when the other one is getting low? And it's not like I am coming at 4 in the afternoon. At 7:30 in the morning!!! So skip this Ziggi's and head across the street to Starbucks (which I don't like endorsing) but at least you'll get coffee with a nice friendly smile and...
