Has now officially lost my business and will never be dealing with them again. For years before the pandemic my girlfriend and I were regulars there and after a while we became known and friendly with quite a bit of the staff. Or so I thought. Eventually because we were regulars they felt okay to slip on our service because "we would understand". My orders was continuously incorrect and they acted like it was no big deal. They would suggest just add whatever was missing and throw the item or the meal itself in the microwave. Plus, being regulars and on a friendly basis with them they took the time to remember my girlfriend's name, unfortunately I was known as basically Mr. "grifriend's name". Last night was the clencher. Because of the pandemic we no longer eat inside anymore and usually order online. Last night I ordered and paid through the Denny's website, not Doordash's site. When the food was delivered one of the items ordered wasn't there but Denny's charged me for it. I called and spoke to Felicia, who told me that I needed to come there to get it. If I wanted it delivered to me I would have to contact Doordash. Since it was checked off on the receipt, Felicia stated that it was probably never made. I asked instead of going through all of that if they could refund the item. Felicia stated that I would have to contact Doordash for that. I informed her that I didn't order through them, but the Denny's site which they were the ones that took my money. She still claimed it was Doordash. I asked how it was Doordash's fault when they didn't make the item. Felicia stated that she never said they never made it. I reminded her that she just said that they probably never did. Felicia denied ever saying that and I just needed to contact Doordash because she was too busy to deal with this. Basically, they made a mistake and no matter my option, I would be paying for it. So, done with them. I would say that location could go straight to Hell, but since it is a Denny's in Titusville......it's practically...
Read moreI am only giving it a 1 star because I can't give it a zero. All I can say is I will never ever go back to this place again. When I came in the manager was cashing out a waitress. She made us wait several minutes before asking another seever to seat me. Then i waited 20 minutes before anyone greeted us. Then I waited over an hour for my food with almost no one in the restaurant. I originally ordered a burger. When it came out it the plate was full of grease and the bun was saturated with so much grease it was dripping wet....and cold. Then I asked to get something else. I decided to get something that was quicker and easier to cook. 2 eggs over easy, toast, bacon, and pancakes. Well....my eggs were fried extra hard, my toast had so much butter it was no longer edible, bacon old cold and over cooked, pancakes like rubber. Then while I was at the register and the waitress who was serving me was cashing me out. It was taking her a little longer because I asked for their corporate phone number. Here comes that manager again....looks at my waitress and says, "don't you have something to do?" I said yes she is helping me. Read moreWalking into the diner, a female cook and her girlfriend were arguing at the front door and screaming ridiculous stuff/cussing in front of my 6 year old. Even talked about drug use. I sat in the middle of the dining room and could still hear her and other cooks who were leaving yelling obscenities. This is not a kid friendly place, not really friendly for anyone. I'm against cell phones at the table but we played games to keep him from listening. My kid had his heart set on pancakes though and we stayed. Our waitress was polite and attentive to her customers very well and even though my order was wrong and I couldn't eat part of it and didn't get any refund or replacement, my option was to not pay for the extra stuff I didn't want on it. She was still polite and put a smile on even though she didn't want to (I wouldn't either and I appreciate that she did) but she also didn't hover over us which I appreciate. The dining staff I didn't meet seemed to be pleasant and held nice conversation with elderly customers. I wouldn't come here for amazing food after 5pm (the part of my meal that was right was overly cold and rock hard (cfs) but if you don't have kids and want some good customer service it's...
