Starbucks — Restaurant in Torrance

I visited this store Thursday evening and was taken back by how well the team managed even though they were very short-staffed. One cashier and one barista at any given time should never be the norm in an environment with so much foot traffic. Eventually another employee joined and that's when things really began to shine. I admire how the baristas demonstrated great team work. From a distance I heard, "Which drinks would you like to work on?" His colleague then went on to formulate a game plan that quickly began to expedite drinks to customers. It was teamwork that really made the team shine. Some customers were impatient and demonstrated no empathy. However, we are talking about a barista team that was making things work with what little staff they had. I applaud the barista team. I was working on the clock. I order my drink and didnt get it after 45min. I asked the baristas of how much longer, they said 6 more drinks ahead of me. As I sat there waiting counted 15 drinks came out and still my drink wasnt ready. I needed to get back to work and still waiting for my drink. When I asked them again they couldnt find the ticket for my drink so I had to wait for them to make another. But one of baristas just made my drink in less than a minute. If my drink can be made in less than a minute why did it take 45min to be made? Yes I understand there were people ahead of me. But the people behind in the line ordering already had thier drinks and left. Disappointed at...

The person taking orders is a big girl wearing glasses. Her movements are slow, and her responses are very delayed and quite rude. She is so slow that a long line has formed behind me. The customers behind me keep complaining. It took her 10-15minutes to take one order!!!!!!!!

The Matcha iced coffee they made was full of ice and had no coffee at all. Her attitude was extremely poor.

If you have mental and obesity issues we totally respect that, but you should see a doctor and maintain a healthy attitude first instead of working outside and being rude to your customers.
