I ordered from here very often! And very often my app order is not correct. The management does fix the issue once we call them and bring it to their attention, but it's a consistent issue that hasn't been resolved for any future orders as these mishaps keep on occurring! Along with this, today I decided to pickup our order so there's no mistakes and 33 minutes after the order was supposed to be ready for pickup, it was not ready!!
Then te food was being handled by an employee named Joshua, who was speaking of clocking out at 230... It was 220.
So with this fact in mind, he was scrambling, rushing and was very disturbed and disoriented. Then with my efforts to explain to him that there was an extra 2 items that the staff placed with the app order, that was ordered in the restaurant and not to confuse these items with the order.
With total disregard, because he was rushing, annoyed and disturbed with the pressure of time, adding my voice (my efforts to clarify what was going on with both orders) it was too overwhelming for him! Joshua completely snapping at me! Completely rude!! So because we acted like a know-it-all, annoyed by my input, he STILL ended up MIXING UP one item that was ordered on site with the app order!! SMH!!
I then proceeded to explain to him three times more, at which he just couldn't wrap his head around the facts...he became even more flustered! MORE RUDE!!
THIS is not the type of customer service that anyone wants to deal with, let alone, the fact that our office order was not ready by the pickup time indicated!! 33 MINUTES later!! So they had a whole hour to make our online order essentially!!
They really need to work on their accuracy and customer service...
Read moreMy amorcita, Emma and I were out and about in the South Bay running errands and found ourselves in Torrance. We also found ourselves getting hungry for dinner, so we decided to find something in the area. We had been to the Tender Greens restaurant at 21247 Hawthorne Blvd location several years back and were impressed with the food enough to make a return visit. It was a great decision!! My Amorcita ordered the Fried Chicken Plate with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables and I ordered the Grilled Shrimp Plate with Baby Arugula Salad and mixed rice. My Amorcita also wanted to try the chicken pozole soup. We were both so pleased with our food choices! Both our plates were well presented and a flavourful nirvana!😋 I must personally thank Lacey our chef and meal preparation extraordinaire for her excellent skill at creating such a great dinner for us. Also, our attendant and server, Isac was such a joyful and attentive young man. Isac was always there to ensure our drink glasses were full and our every need accounted for. My one, and only complaint is the time it took for our dinner meal to make its way to our table. Almost a full 45 minutes elapsed from the time we ordered, to the dinner meals arrival at our table. We elected to dine in, and the restaurant was only about 10% capacity, so it seemed the emphasis was on the "to go" and call in orders than for the patrons at the restaurant. Just a minor suggestion for improvement to not neglect those restaurant patrons😉 Overall, an excellent dining experience, highlighted by the excellent food and excellent service from Lacey and Isac. Much love and...
Read moreI went with a friend and two toddlers around 1 PM to avoid heavy lunch crowds. The food was excellent, but here are some reasons why I can't bring myself to come back:
The ordering process is posed like a Chipotle line-up, except you don't really pick and choose as you go. You simply give your order at the beginning and then have to awkwardly stand watching employees get plates together. This is fine if you're alone or with a group of friends, but with toddlers, it. Was. Painful. We would rather have just found a table as soon as we placed the order... we could have easily come back to pick up our order once we heard our names, but this option wasn't available.
There is no service outside of the food prep area. Our plates were not ready by the time we reached the cashier, so after we paid, we had to keep waiting, with toddlers in arms, with the expectation of taking our huge trays to the table with us. It was only when the cashier realized that one of our plates was going to take a whole longer than the other that she gave us a number to have ONLY one of the plates brought out to us.
We also had to find and drag high chairs to our table by ourselves. Not hard, just cumbersome with everything else we had to hold/take care of.
Bottom line: Not mom-friendly. It really felt like a public cafeteria more than anything else.
We definitely will have to keep avoiding TG until our kids are old enough to help with trays! It's a shame because again, the food...
