I would pass on this place. You usually can't go wrong with a pub but their are definitely better options in the area. The restaurant is dingy and not kept very clean. It seems more of a bar scene. Staff is mediocre. The hostess had her belly showing? We stood because they had an outdoor seating area.
After observations we chose to just get apps and a drink to see how it went. The two soups we ordered were good. We ordered honey bbq boneless wings. When we received them the sauce looked pink?? We both did not like the sauce and after telling the waiter he offered for us to try the regular bbq sauce. Between both sauces on the chicken, it was not enjoyable. It was only edible if we drenched it in blue cheese. We then realized they were made in house and if we didn't like two of the sauces, I doubted we would like anymore.
When I told him we wanted to pass on the wings, he looked at me surprised. After a few exchanges and the waiter telling me "he is just the messenger" and his manager never coming down after I asked to speak with him. I was told YOU WILL NOT BE GETTING A REFUND FOR THE WINGS. And the only option was to try anther dish.
I have never been to a restaurant that denied refunding an $11 dish. Between the horrible customer service and disgusting wing sauce I wouldn't recommend this...
Read moreMy wife and I sat down at the bar here…and that was it. We went out to watch football and enjoy some wings (their food is actually very good) but we’re greeted by a young lady behind the bar that decided to ruin the relaxed atmosphere we walked into. As we sat down - the bartender took it upon herself to discuss her personal outlook on controversial matters we face in this country. I’m all for freedom of speech. Feel as you will. I’m also a business owner and would be VERY upset if one of my employees made potential customers leave by openly saying offensive remarks about their opinions. I’ve always condoned myself in a professional matter and believe that should always be. Call me old fashion but that’s just something I think helps. We were willing to spend a good amount of money on drinks and dinner. We decided to leave due to this individual. Does it matter to you or the restaurant? Maybe not. I just think we all can agree that you go out to enjoy yourself and not feel segregated off an establishment. Is what it is. This review is due to the fact that I’ve gone here a lot and this was the 1st time in a long time I’ve had to walk out due to an employee’s behavior. I’m sure this won’t be perceived well but…This was OUR experience today. Other than that...
Read moreMix feeling about this place. The four of us ordered different dishes to try, and some were surprisingly tasty, while others were quite disappointing.
The highlights were the ahi tuna and the seafood diablo. Both dishes were executed well, and the portion on the seafood diablo was big enough for two.
Now comes the disappointing dishes - first up, mango mạhi-mahi. It was meh, especially when you compare it against the ahi tuna, which was the same price as the mahi-mahi.
The worst dish of it all was the sliced steak. We asked for rare, and it came out well done. The waitress apologized and offered to bring a new dish, but we were pretty full and didn’t wanna wait again as it took a while for this dish to come out. We had a feeling that the kitchen prepped it a while back, but it was left on the counter, which continued to cook while the steak was on the skillet. For a juicy steak lover, this dish was terrible. It is too bad that this was the last thing I remember for...
