I’ve been a loyal BJ’s member for over four years, but I’m disappointed to share that my recent experiences with their pick-up service have been consistently frustrating. Almost every time I place a pick-up order, I end up having to return to the store for missing items, only to find that those items were already set aside on the designated pick-up shelf. This issue has occurred not just once or twice, but more than 10 times.
After enduring this repeated inconvenience, I decided to report the issue to a floor supervisor named Charlie. To my surprise, instead of showing concern or offering to help, he became visibly frustrated and told me that because of my “attitude,” he would not assist me, and that a manager should handle it instead. Despite the situation, I remained calm until the manager arrived. She was polite, professional, and promptly brought me the two missing items which were sitting in plain sight on the pick-up shelf right next to where Supervisor Charlie had been standing and working.
This entire situation could have been resolved in under 30 seconds had the supervisor simply acknowledged my concern and handed me the items. Instead, I was met with resistance and a 10-minute delay that could have easily been avoided.
At this point, I can’t help but ask: Is this the level of service I should expect with a $120 membership? As a paying member, I value efficiency, professionalism, and basic respect, qualities that have unfortunately been lacking in recent visits to...
Read moreWithout fail, something causes our trips to BJs to be an hour ordeal. This was the first time we tried the deli at this BJs. Two staff members behind the counter, I had a simple 2 item order. One employee sat there and made the other do the order instead of being efficient and doing the order together. The employee who took care of my order had no idea what he was doing, he was very nice but couldn't find anything and it took over 20 minutes for TWO ITEMS. Are you kidding me? I wouldn't be this upset if I didn't find out when I got home that one of the two meats I asked for was incorrect. So not only did it take 5x longer than a normal deli, it was 50% less accurate than a regular deli. Needless to say, I will never use the deli here again. The only staff member who is actually nice is Sandra, the rest of the people there act like they are serving out a prison sentence. I bought a few hundred dollars of BJs Shares during the IPO, but I am going to sell them due to the way their stores are being run. Read moreWent here with my mom on Saturday November 16th 2024 to pick up some little hot dogs for appetizers after going to the walmart in suffern and they didn't have any. This is the 1st time that i've walked into here, and let me tell you, can get awfully busy on the weekends. Nice to see a Bj's Crowded though. It also looks smaller than our local bj's in monroe, but it is also located in a mall, so gotta take the space available. We entered the store, and headed to the freezer section, which was in the back. Store was very clean both inside and out. We immediately found little hot dogs and then waited on line. The line came out to all the way to the back of the store, and we only had one item. Luckily a lady came up to us while on line, and told us that we can pay for our item in guest services (Member services) , since we only had one and the line was long. That's exactly what we did.
