I normally love this place but tonight I ordered a rather large meal and 2 of the items were steak and parm crustedchicken combos with parm crust alsoon my steak. When I got home I realized the steak did not receive the parm crust. In fact they didn't even charge me for it which was crazy to me cause I said it 3 times, so I called back to let them know about it and made sure I was speaking with the same women who took my order. She asked what I would like to be done and I said "well honestly I really want my steak with the parm crust made, I ordered this meal specifically cause my friend said I'm not too big on steak and I said yo we're getting longhorn, you gotta try the steak with the parm crust. 70 dollar order later the one thing we wanted mostly we did not get." She says okay hold on a sec and grabs the manager. I hear them talking and her say that she doesn't remember me saying it but I claim to have said it, so then the manager stresses again did he say it and then the manager is on the phone with me and asks me the same thing. I act as if I didn't hear them speaking and explain the situation but in more detail. Then once I'm done I get put on a hold, and 10 minutes later I hang up cause no one ever came back to the call. I call back, trying to place an order and 10 minutes later hung up again called back still nothing. So literally I couldn't even get through to order a meal, say I was hear for a meal, or speak to a "steak expert" none of the options worked no one answered with 2 and 1/2 hours left till close too. I would of even given my damn steaks back. Like throw em out, let an employee take em Idc I don't want extra food I want what I ordered. I called specifically for it and I mention it again 3 times in the call. When I initially said the combo, when she sacked for my Temps and reiterated again both meats eith parm crust a 3rd time 🤦 if she read the order back to me then I probably would of caught it too...
I changed my rating to 2 stars simply cause zero of this was on any chef and the food I did receive the right way was...
Read moreWe went to Longhorn today for lunch to celebrate my brother and sister-in-law's 50th wedding anniversary. It has been delayed several months due to their serious health issues, so today was a big deal.
They did accommodate our seating needs, but went downhill from there. While waiting for a waiter, witnessed a manager scolding a server.
The music was so loud, we had to ask 2 different employees to lower the volume. The song choices were also inappropriate for a nice restaurant.
The waitstaff were few and far between. The wait for bread, appetizers, water refills, and the meal were very long. Our server, Kenny did a great job trying to help, but he could only do so much. He kept apologizing for delays and mistakes.
When the meal finally came, the 2 medium well sirloins were both well- done. Also, the sizes ordered were both incorrect. The other 2 meals were correct. By the time we were able to get the attention of our server and the manager, half of us were done eating. The manager brought the new steaks out, barely acknowledged the errors, and barely apologized under his breath. He offered NOTHING for all the mistakes. We did not even know that he was a manager until Kenny told us. He was dressed casually and never identified himself or took responsibility. BY THE WAY, the new steaks were both WELL DONE again! Disgusted we wrapped up most of the meal, and got ready to leave. Our server brought over the check, apologizing profusely, he took it on himself to see that more than half of our tables' meals were comped.
We left, grateful for Kenny, but totally disgusted with Longhorn. Needless to say, we will never return or recommend this restaurant again. This day was a long time in the making, and was supposed to be special for my family. Longhorn ruined...
Read moreTonight I was very disappointed with the food, lack of service and the overall experience.
We were seated by a young man who ended up leading us to the bar area rather than to a booth. Once we were redirected to the booth, we sat down and began looking through the menu. Once our decisions had been made, we folded up the menus and began waiting for our server. We waited...and waited...and waited. Finally the hostess came over and took our drink orders. She let us know that our waitress, Alexis, was "occupied" but would be over shortly. We considered this to be unusual as it was not busy at all. When the waitress finally came over and took our orders, she really appeared to be almost bored and completely uninterested in anything that we had to say. That is, until we mentioned that we had a coupon we would like to redeem. She suddenly seemed to wake up and quickly advised us that the coupon could only be redeemed for one dish, not on all dishes ordered. (Funny thing is...there was NOTHING on the coupon at all to support what she had said). While our meals arrived quickly after ordering, I cut into my filet to find that it was not done medium rare as it was ordered, but instead was very pink throughout and not warm at all. I did request that it be cooked a little more and the manager, (Tim) was very nice and appeared to genuinely want to fix the issue. My filet reappeared a few minutes later and was delicious! (Thank you to Tim for the excellent customer service!) We did not see our waitress again until she brought the bill over. This was a very disappointing experience being that we had always had a wonderful experience in the past every time we chose Longhorn for a dinner out. I don't plan on returning to Longhorn anytime...
