My wife and I dined at the Greece Outback Steakhouse this past Friday. We both unfortunately and overwhelming came out extremely frustrated and disappointed. I called to be placed on the call ahead list at 12:30 that afternoon but, despite this, had a 30 minute wait. A very pleasant waiter came and we both ordered a medium cooked fillet, house salad, and the onion soup as an appetizer. The soup finally was served after waiting approximately 30 minutes. Then literally two minutes after this a kitchen server brought, on a large tray, one lone steak, and nothing else. Why would a server not question this when arriving at a table for two with only one steak?? After complaining to the server, the explanation was that my wife's order was probably split from the rest of the order, and that there was a miscommunication in the kitchen. After another 10 to 15 minute wait the other steak and both of our salads were served. Both steaks were unfortunately served well done. The manager came to apologize, telling us the same explanation, and gave us a promise that he would "would make things right". We ordered a second round of drinks while eating, only to have them delivered some time after we had finished eating. The $95.00 bill arrived with no deduction for good will, and we never saw the manager again. Because of having to deal with such a frustrating dining experience we were overwhelming stunned at the price. If there is a recognized problem with orders being split, why is this not being addressed and corrected? Additionally, we totally understand that there is a current problem with help being very hard to hire, if this was part of the problem. But, why pack your restaurant to the rafters, as it was that night, when patrons cannot be served half way properly and efficiently, especially when asking a higher price. Have a few less tables, and hopefully happier diners. We have experienced food being delivered all at once at Outback quite a bit in the past and stopped going for quite awhile. We finally decided to give it another try. We no longer will consider dining at any Outback restaurant. We are not basing this complaint on...

Read moreI give it a 2 out of 5 for a few reasons... Let's start with the how short the server acted towards my wife. My wife had ordered something that she thought was a tad different than what she had received. No issue, just confused and surprised because she had misread the item. Our server had assumed from my wife's response that she didn't like it.. without even asking how she felt about it.. so she went to the manager to say my wife didn't like what she had ordered. As then, the manager decided to come to our table to let us know she would comp the item completely, which in her case from what she was told from the server, would make since and would be considered great service. So for a more uncomfortable night, my wife had to explain the situation for the manager to realize what was actually true. Afterward, the server comes back to the table, let's us know the manager comped the item, leading us to ask why and the server stayed with the idea of my wife not liking it, and then ending it off with her trying to take the item regardless of my wife saying she liked it and was planning on finishing it, in response the server said "well you're not really drinking them".. which had made us even more confused so we were just trying to pace ourselves, while we were only there for less an hour by that point.. End all be all, I currently have been working at a larger restaurant as a busser and a server and have found this place unsettling and untrained. To the servers, patients is key, dont make your guests feel rushed or uncomfortable. Makes a better time for them and for you. Also you'll get better tips, c'mon.. Thank you to the manager who comped our item, good luck guys, you're...
