Dear Wingstop Corporate or owner:
I am unable to comment, nor score, if the food is any good or not, as I did not receive my food in an acceptable time.
My order was placed at 7:55 pm in person. At 8:40 pm, I asked if my order was in process and was told it was not yet, so alternate plans had to be made.
I'm not sure what Wingstops model is, but as a 1st interaction with the chain, it appears to be designed by someone with zero restaurant knowledge or experience.
In the 45 minutes I spent watching this catastrophe, it became apparent Wingstop has only enough fryers to process one order at a time, and even that was slow if there were multiple fryer orders in it. The chains entire model is based on frying; How is it that only 1 order or can process at a time?
I heard the shift lead say "waiting on fries"5+ times."
What?
Wingstop's whole shtick is fry, season, and serve. If there are 20+ annoyed people waiting on orders, go ahead and fry a whole basket of fries so there's no waiting.
Same for wings, boneless or otherwise. When your whole identity is frying wings, maybe try batch frying and placing under a heating hood for 5 minutes as saucing is done This isn't a Michellin 5 star tasting menu with tweezers, it's wings and fries.
Service was "meh"; Props to the seven (yes, 7 people were working) employees who showed up, and to the 2, maybe 3, trying to expedite. With a functional kitchen and proper oversight, there shouldn't be a 10 minute wait, let alone failure to deliver after 45.
Wingstop got $20 from me, and all I received was aggravation and having my time wasted. As I tried to illustrate, it's a design failure by the chain, that caused it. Based on reviews of this and the other local branch, I will certainly never go to Wingstop again and encourage others to avoid it as well until Wingstop learns basic...
Read moreFirst time coming here, me and my partner were greeted by a polite gentleman who took our order with patience and grace. He even put a smiley face on our bag and he checked up on us to see how we liked the food. It was so sweet of him. Then we come back today at around 4 pm. A different person takes our order, visibly annoyed and rolling her eyes, sighing, raising her eyebrows at us when we were looking at the menu... a complete contrast to her coworker, who now was checking to make sure orders were correct. We ordered the 8 wings each, but boneless. We ended up getting regular wings. The woman who took our order was strangely persistent on making us get the regular wings instrad of the boneless and when we said boneless, she said 'okay, regular wings'. She also gave us a strange look when we said we wanted to dine in, and said "you should do take out," like what??? The wait was also excessive but we gave grace because it was a bit more busy than usual.
To the lovely gentleman with the glasses and cool tattoos, thank you for being so nice. As for the woman with red braids? I work in food service and no matter the circumstances, I have never intentionally wronged a customer, or been so rude. I keep myself in check, you can too. Or you can get a job outside of food service if you cannot handle it. Get...
Read moreI placed an order online and was given a time to arrive to pick up the food. When I arrived and gave the girl my name, she said “it has about 10 minutes.” 30 minutes go by and I asked the girl to check on my food. She told me that there were still 2 people ahead of me. When she did end up giving me my food, I checked it to make sure the order was right. Sure enough, it was completely wrong. I requested a refund because I did not want to wait for them to remake it. I was told that they can’t issue refunds for orders done online and that I needed to figure out how to do it online. I asked for assistance with this, but they didn’t know how to do it. They told me that it could take 3-4 business days before the refund was issued. Ultimately, I decided to wait for them to remake my food because I did not want to risk not receiving a refund. Thankfully, it was right when they remade it.
In addition to this - the workers were not wearing gloves, eating French fries while making the food, and making food for their workers on break before preparing the food for the customers. It did not appear as though anyone was “in charge” or managing the place.
The food itself was good, but I will likely not return because of...
