King Crab — Restaurant in Town of Greece

Decided to try out King Crab at the Greece Ridge Plaza in Greece, NY. My wife ordered an order of fried green beans and 3 fried scallops with a glass of wine. I ordered a fried catfish basket with cajun fries, a half dozen steamed oysters and a beer. With the tip our lunch was $75. There were no pros, only cons to this meal.

1. There was more batter on the scallops and catfish , than there was scallops and catfish.
2. The oysters barely existed, they were smaller in size than a little neck steamed clam.
3. The so called Cajun fries had no Cajun flavor at all. They were just grease filled fries.

I guess the green beans weren't half bad and the beer was cold and my wife's wine was ok but otherwise the meal was nothing to write home about.

The prices of all other items are far more than they're worth. Unless you have money to blow and are ok with bad food, I'd stay away from this joint. I for one will not make a second visit. I left feeling like I was robbed. Satisfaction is not guaranteed at this joint....

Given the name and outside of the building we were expecting sushi, crab Rangoon and lots of other goodies but instead the menu seemed like a missmatch of "seafood" and other random stuff. We settled on gyoza to split, a shrimp basket for hubby and chicken tenders for me.

The pot stickers were clearly mass-produced but were at least cooked properly. The chicken was actually pretty good but the fries were completely unseasoned. We waited a few minutes but our server didn't come back and I finally had to get up myself to hunt down salt. Server did come once to check on us but we were at least half way through our meal and we had to flag him down to get our bill.

As we were leaving we witnessed the hostess walking someone to their table with a half eaten chicken wing hanging out of her mouth. I know staff has to eat, but they should be given a proper break or at least not walk through the restaurant eating! I'm really glad we were done eating when we saw that because we were both pretty...

I honestly wish I could give ZERO stars. I placed two orders and when I got home the food was in one bag and missing shrimp and sausage (they forgot to charge for it they say). I order from King crab at least twice a week and my orders are never less than $100 and I always order 2 bags. I called in to let them know of the mistake and the manager offered to fix it and add items to each bag to accommodate me having to drive all the way back to Greece NY, the owner decided she would make the order over but would charge for the shrimp and sausage she forgot to charge for originally, I stated since she made the mistake she should add the sausage and shrimp out of courtesy and because I'd have to drive all the way back. She declined so I politely asked for a full refund which the manager agreed to give. King Krab has lost a faithful customer and I'll be sure to tell everyone I know about...
