Sicilia D'Oro Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

This review will be mostly based on the chicken Caesar salad because that's what I usually order from here. It's good, consistent, and reasonably priced. I'm one of the few people that order salads from a pizzeria but I like to know that they have the option. I also like the fact that there salads are priced well enough that don't feel like I over payed for lettuce. One of the worst feelings is going to a pizzeria and deciding to order a salad, they prepare it and bag it up and tell you:"yea ok, that's uh $16...I could've gotten a pie and a 2 liter. Had a sign on their door saying 2 pies & a soda for $20 but they refused to give my dad the discount. Few days later I go there & a worker stares me down because he didn't like that my dad complained (after asking if I am related to him). How he knew I was related to him in the first place? I have no idea. But it was a really uncomfortable experience all around. I tried for years to go to this place but the staff are just so unfriendly. I've had enough & I am no longer going here. Why does this establishment require customers to wear a mask but the employees preparing the food have their mask off while having a personal conversation; why aren’t they required to wear a mask? The one employee handling the money answering the phones and then start making pizza! Also if you can not comprehend the English language you should not be a front end worker! They always mess up my order and then they don’t comp you for it or remake! Ever since they changed management this establishment has gone down!
