ordered mango dragonfruit yogurt, customization zero sugar
This was not the first time ordering from this location, and the previous time, there was mango and dragonfruit chunks in the yogurt.
This time, I was given a yogurt with only dragonfruit, and no mango.
When I took my drink back to ask for mango, I was told that the sugar was in the mango syrup, so they just didn't put any mango without informing me that they would charge me for mango dragonfruit yogurt, but give me a dragonfruit yogurt (which is a separate menu option, but is cheaper than what I was charged).
Furthermore, they explained that they would charge me an extra $1.00 if I wanted to add the standard portion of mango chunks to my dragonfruit yogurt (which was charged as a mango AND dragonfruit yogurt, but given to me without any mango in the first place.)
P.s. the employee i spoke to replied in a disrespectful tone and told me that I definitely had not ordered mango dragonfruit yogurt from this location before, implying that my previous instance ordering from this location was a lie. As a business, gaslighting a customer like this is extremely...
Read moreI'm not a big yogurt eater but making it a drink with delicious fruit/jam might make me one! My family and I tried Hey Yogurt for the first time and it did not disappoint. We ordered a passion fruit yogurt and a strawberry yogurt, and I couldn't decide which one I liked better. The consistency is thick like a smoothie but not too thick and the yogurt is sweet unlike the slight sourness you'd expect from a yogurt. Seems to be an overall healthier option than other desserts which is exciting. We mayyyyy have let our 1yo try it too and since he almost drank the whole thing by himself, we should've ordered him his own! The cheesecake was delicious, but I can see the price deterring people from getting it.
The small shop is cozy, modern with a decent amount of seating and a restroom in the back. The owners are great! They just had their soft opening and they're doing a few promos for their grand opening (Aug 2-8). With lots of boba shops around, this is a nice alternative if you're looking for something different...
Read moreWell this is the new shop in Great Neck. I love the way the yogurt made and you have a choices to choose between plain or mixed with Fruit or Grains. The taste is tasty and delicious. My favorite is the yogurt with purple rice. It just getting along really well. Yogurt with red beans is also delicious and if you like fruit, Banana and Strawberry are the most definitely best to go with. I love that in our neighborhood has more choices not just a bubble tea. They also selling Bakery like croffle and cakes.
What is funny is their motto. "Healthier tomorrow" Is that mean, today I drink an unhealthy yogurt? Lol Well, I know what they try to communicate but it can't help. :D
Also, for the folks with diet, if you go with grains, that Cal is 5xx, fruit is about 3xx but we know how the body behave for the sugar from 2 sources. So let's...
