10/6/24 8:45am Cashier Anneci & three other Dunkin employees (females) I myself come from an Hispanic family so I speak English & Spanish. I gave my order in English at first to the cashier. While all of a sudden the second cashier that was next to her looks at her placing the order and is questioning what is she doing. I had to repeat my order to both of them about 3-4 more times while they were trying to repeat the order back to me in barely understandable broken English. Once I paid & got my receipt I had an item on there that I did not order. Now at this point I’m talking to both the cashiers in Spanish. When the second cashier wants to argue with me on what I said & didn’t say to my original cashier. Then the manager or supervisor steps in just to get me a refund and then walks away to continue preparing orders in the back. I walk away to wait for my order but at the same time the second cashier is still talking about what I supposedly had said in the first place all in Spanish as if I don’t understand and as if you didn’t just hear me talk back to you in Spanish. At that point she should had just shut up and do her job especially when the customer is always right. As well as learn to listen better whether it’s in English or Spanish but at the same time mind your business. The Manager/Supervisor that was on duty should have told the second cashier that you need to stop talking & complaining out loud. But nope. At the end my original cashier was actually the only one that was nice, respectful, polite, and apologetic because she knew that she couldn’t really fully understand English and acted like she cared & needed her job more then the second/middle cashier. I guess my business and recommendations will be to go to the newly renovated Dunkin Donuts in Greenwich, CT which I should have just gone there in the first place. Well have a nice day...
Read moreI always go to this Dunkin Donuts and have never had a problem but after this experience it's safe to say I won't be returning for a long time. I always order on the app for pick up, and I always order my lattes with almond milk. I'm a regular I'm sure they recognize my face by now every time I go in as my order is usually the same. However, I made a mistake and accidentally ordered my latte with regular milk. I'm aware that it was my mistake so I first tried to see if I was able to drink my latte as it is and call it a day, but when I took a sip the taste was different. It wasn't terrible it just wasn't the taste I was used to, so I went back in and told them I made a mistake with my order (again not blaming them for my mistake as it was on me) and asked them if I can just change it and receive a latte with my usual almond milk instead. Their response was "you have to pay for another latte." I was like excuse me? Why would I pay for another latte for absolutely no reason at all when they could just simply switch it out for me!!? It's the same price it was so ridiculous!! Asking them to do something so simple was like asking them to pull teeth. It was very catty and poor customer service in my opinion as there was no reason they couldn't just change my order instead of trying to make me pay for another latte how insane! I told them I'd just keep this latte because I wasn't going to pay for another latte as it was ridiculous and unnecessary and left. I needed the caffeine to give me boost for the day but could not bring myself to finish it. Experience ruined won't be returning to this establishment...
Read moreSo sad. Port Chester DD can not get a order correct. I asked for a Med. Coffee with Milk no sugar and a egg sausage no cheese, she say no cheese i say correct then she asked me if I want the value meal, I say no just the Coffee and sandwich. She charged me for just the coffee and hands me the receipt. I look at her and she says is there something wrong. I say yes my sandwich is missing. So she rings up another bill i say egg sausage no cheese. Rings up the bill i pay and wait ten minutes. Still nothing. I am watching other customers comes and go, not even my coffee yet. I walk up to the counter and had them my receipts and then I get my coffee a few seconds later and sandwich 5 minutes later with No sausage, its a egg with cheese. Now I don't like to post bad service unless its ongoing. Almost every time I stop in port Chester DD the service is sub standard. It unfortunately my meeting place for over twenty years with my old friends.
