Read moreI'll try to keep it short, but it's gonna be difficult! Southold Highschool Alumni, Class of 2000. I live in woodside queens now. If you have the North Fork in your Blood You don't lose it. I was a small business owner and resident of greenport. I'd spend my afternoons sitting with other Artists... the art community is strong... I was co founder of Emerge.li and art Collective of established and new artist to provide opportunities for newer artists to show with big names... We were in pulse magazine... We met in Aldo's... at any given point, you would find an artist sitting, you could join them, and within 20 mins 4 people were sitting together organizing a show at the then amazing South Street gallery. My sister in law was in desperate need of a thank you... Not just anythank you, but a very special super Thank you. Josh i personally made sure my order was carried across the street to he employment... Instantly making her the most popular person in the room! I can't even tell you the feeling I had as a new york city resident when josh followed up with me, asking for my address to provide me with scones of my own... I'm not embarrassed to say i'm a little emo... I cannot tell you how often it feels like. Yeah, the person in a store in new york city is doing you the favor. Thank you for classic in traditional as well as refreshing approach to how a business should be run. As a business owner myself, I offer the highest level of thanks for your customer service. I share the want to provide for my customers that you do and it seems to be related directly to the magic of the east end. When people asked where Southold is, i'll often say it's the second start of the right and straight on till morn... The combination of the location and the quality of ownership multiplied by the actual amazing nature of the product, from a fellow retailer, this is a no brainer... there is nothing you will buy from this store that you will be unhappy with... I know I said I would try to keep it short, but there's just so much to be said about how wonderful an experience i've had... I have fond memories of Aldo and Cleo Driving Around taking care of business but looking crazy doing it... i miss the breakfasts aldo would make for people who knew to ask... Whatever he was making was what you got... But i'm also very happy to see it in such great hands... And I say that as a traditionalist local... Just a...
Read moreYelped a coffee shop and this place came up. It was around 9pm when I came in here, one of the few places open at that time, and there was a big line to my surprise. I thought maybe it’s a really good place since so many people flock here. Now I am just giving my two cents about their coffee, not anything else since nothing else was purchased. I ordered an iced latte and I was pretty disappointed. First off the taste it had was as I describe old coffee, why? It has happened to me at home where if you reuse the coffee filter for the expresso machine you will get the taste of old coffee oils infused into your fresh coffee. Lastly I was surprised my latte was weak tasting, how do I know good coffee is good, by having after taste coffee in your mouth. This latte was very weak. Now it could have been that they were so busy or the young girl did not know, i dont know either.
I was really sleepy and had to drive back to NYC so i eventually stopped off at a 7-11 and made me fresh ground iced latte to go! Again, this review can not speak for the entirety of the place. Maybe if the owner reads this review, it might be something they can correct.
The decor was really nice and all food was displayed very well. Place is decently large. Customer service was not too bad. Just wish they had a line control as people just walked in and they wanted to skip a line i was already waiting on 12 minutes. The person who helped me was very friendly. I gave the place three stars based on the based on my coffee. I am sure the coffee here can be much better with better machine tuning and...
