Uncorked Truckee — Restaurant in Truckee

I've been coming to Uncorked for years and they've fueled our Sierra adventures in both sun and snow, alike. I've become good friends with the staff and both owners, Chris and Kel, and it's taken me too long to leave a review.

Uncorked has, hands down, the BEST selection of wines in the Tahoe Basin. Their staff's knowledge is top notch, their pricing is incredibly fair and their hospitality is warm and genuine. You could blindly pick a bottle off the shelf and be guaranteed it will be good whether you're looking for a pricey special occasion wine or an every day porch pounder.

If you're in Tahoe City or staying at Palisades or North Star, don't fret because they have locations there as well. Every single shop is just as good as the last. Oh! And and Uncorked at Northstar is a full-scale restaurant that is the best food in the resort, no...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Uncorked in Truckee, and it was an absolutely stellar experience. The highlight of my visit was the incredible service provided by Ariel. She was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help me find the perfect wines. Ariel’s passion for wine and her expertise truly made the experience special.

Wide wine selection, including international selections. The host was very helpful with suggestions and just attentive enough. Both of her suggested wines were very good but as someone who's less educated about wine, I appreciate knowing the details so that, if I like it, I can find similar wines.
