This is my favorite ice cream place. $36 for 3 pints of ice cream with all of the issues I’m going to list is starting to feel like it’s not worth it anymore. The customer service is very frustrating. Every single time I get ice cream for my family at least 1 or 2 or our orders ends up being the wrong flavor. Today I ordered the peanut butter toffee. I cannot eat wheat and open up the ice cream take a bite and realize I ate a soggy pretzel :/ I’ll pay for that with health issues for a few days and the flavor wasn’t even worth the bite, anyways. So frustrating. Along with the wrong orders some of the employees are incredibly rude. Maybe some re training would be helpful with this location. When you are spending such a large amount of money on this ice cream your order should especially be correct. Another thing-The ice crystals have gotten a lot more prevalent and the fillings (IE chunks of chocolate, toffee, nuts, honeycomb ect) have been greatly reduced, I assume to lower their costs. It’s very obvious this has become the norm the last few months rather than a batch issues. It would be nice to be able to depend on excellent and consistent products when you choose a higher quality place to purchase from. They’re starting to lose...

I’m an ice cream fanatic and I was drawn to this place (the Congress St. location) by the information on their website- all natural, handmade, clean ingredients, the first AZ ice cream pasteurizers. But I was sorely disappointed in the product. First the positives: the flavors were unique and were chock full of the added ingredients such as honey & honeycomb, and homemade chocolate cookies. And the waffle cone was delicious! But the ice cream was grainy and the portion was so small that I asked the employee if she was sure this was the medium size that I had ordered because it looked quite skimpy. Each of the 2 scoops were a little larger than a golf ball, and looked pitiful sitting at the bottom of the large waffle cone. Maybe I caught them on a bad day? Or maybe the employee determined that I didn’t need a larger serving. Perhaps she was a new employee? There are 2 other ice cream shops just a couple of doors down so there are...

This has been on my must list since we moved here in May. The reviews are excellent across every social media platform. What a disappointment. The server clearly didn't want to be there and appeared as if we were intrusive. My husband, who only orders a chocolate shake, couldn't believe how watery and tasteless. It was obvious she didn't want to open a new container, so added too much milk to get the appropriate amount. It was, at best, weak chocolate milk. I ordered a sundae, which according to the board comes with one scoop, hot fudge, whipped cream, unlimited toppings, on a brownie, cake or cookie. First, there was only a choice of a cookie. Second, " they no longer offer toppings, only hot fudge and whipped cream." "There's no whipped cream, I just got here." I don't like paying for things I don't get. My cookie and cream ice cream was fine. I can get "fine" ice...

The Screamery in Tucson is a must-visit for ice cream lovers. Their ice cream is fantastic—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. They offer a variety of creative and classic flavors, making it hard to choose just one. Each scoop feels like a treat made with high-quality ingredients, and it’s clear they take pride in their craft. The service is also commendable. The staff is friendly and helpful, ready to offer suggestions if you’re unsure what to try. They serve with a smile and keep the line moving efficiently. With great ice cream and good service, The Screamery is the perfect spot for a sweet indulgence. Definitely worth a visit!

Delicious. The flight is a great deal; six scoops for eight dollars and really great flavors...we tried hub a couple of weeks ago - this is so much better. I don't understand how they have similar ratings; these flavors are so much richer. I got...cowboy cookie, rough at sea, whiskey way, ooey gooey butter cake, sweet cream honeycomb, and blueberry ice cream. He had a pistachio and a missippi mud pie...they were all really good. Favorites were ooey gooey butter cake, sweet cream honeycomb, and blueberry cheesecake. I added a waffle cone because ice cream isn't complete without a cone.

The downtown Screamery is equally as good as the Screamery on Speedway. I'm more likely to go to the Speedway Blvd. Screamery because of the parking. There is limited metered-parking on the fronting street. When I visited here, I was lucky to get street parking nearby. They've generally got the same flavors. One thing I noticed that was different was their stated re-use of materials for a part of their counter and other decorative pieces which I identify below in photos. To me, this speaks to the owners commitment to sustainability, which means something to me.
