Location: At the Southcenter Mall. Very easy to find. You can go inside and avoid the mall if you're not a fan of it. Huge sign outside showing where it is at. Near the Seafood Market.
Ambiance/VIew: It is nicely set up so that there is plenty of room to sit and eat if you want to eat there. It can definitely get a little overcrowded on the weekend or when school is out. It is a very popular place for fans of really good chicken. It is a little more upscale then a normal fast food place in terms that it actually has room to sit and eat amd very clear cut clean designs. The only view is of other people or of the mall.
Cleanliness: I always saw someone cleaning when i walked by and looked in or when i was walking around the mall. I decided to go and order food and it was actually 2 people cleaning the place in general where people were walking around and the stations. (soda, counter etc.) When they were mopping it didn't smell like mop water. lol You can tell they actually knew how to clean. So far from what I can see it was very clean.
Customer Service: I was in the line and the guy wanted to know what I wanted and I wasn't sure being as the menu is big and my first time. He actually suggested the side of rice and corn and said it goes well with the spicy chicken. They were quick and kind and patient when I wasn't paying attention.
Taste: 2 piece spicy chicken with rice, corn and gravy. My favorite food review show on youtube (thebesteverfoodreviewshow) said to definitely try it with the gravy; but to first try it by itself. I bit into the spicy chicken thinking it would be ehh spicy. but it actually is spicy (in a good way). The chicken was super crunchy and not greasy with that touch of spice that made it omg! I then dipped it in the gravy and omg. The mixture of gravy and the spicy chicken was supa good! ( check out Dsmoke on youtube for Supa good reference) The rice with the gravy and corn was really good mixture. savory and sweet from the corn and the gravy. Definitely best fast food chicken i have had here in Washington state.
Overall: If you're looking for amazing fried chicken that actually has a good flavor to it, don't go to your normal fast food restaurant. Jollibee's is clean, friendly, quick and the right place to go to when your are craving spicy and delicious fried chicken. Go on over to Jollibee's and sink your teeth into a savory piece of fried chicken and gravy and let the crunchiness of the fried chicken make you realize what you have been missing! A...
Read moreI regret to write this review for something so petty about asking for bags. On 7/1 at around 11 in the morning, my kids are excited to stop by here after long drive from southern CA but met with unnecessary stinginess of your staff. First, we don't really go to Jollibee often so it'll be a while before we could decide what to order, I knew this so we stood by outside the line so we would not be holding lines for other customers. Yet, your cashier it is so pressed to get our orders right there and then and rushing us. This however, is something I would just brush off. We moved away to find a table, our buzzer sounded and got our orders. My husband who is also in the mall with our dogs called to tell us that he found a table just outside the store. So, I asked my son to get a bag so we could move to the table where my husband is. The old lady gave him a tiny little bag which is I know would not be sufficient to hold all $71 food we purchased. I then went to get it myself and ask for a bigger bag, she eagerly hand it. This large bag won't be quite enough, so I asked for another one and old lady said I can't. At this moment, I know I had to at least pay, so I said "I would pay." She said, "That would be $0.08." I grabbed my smallest bill of $1, and she gave it to a supervisor or manager named "KHARLA", she held the dollar bill and realized perhaps it is just too small of a transaction to even bother. She gave back the dollar bill and told me that next time that I should tell the cashier for the bags. At this point, I did not bother to reason to them that they should consider at any point in time your guests or customers can have a sudden change of plans or even emergencies maybe in the midst of dining experience that could require them to dash out and needing a bag(s). Sadly, this whole experience is one of those times that I would be going back "No more next time.", Management need to look at how staff from top to the bottom are being trained. Remember, the cashiers, managers, front-staff are the face of...
Read moreJollibee is one of my favorite fast food restaurants! This is the only one around this area. It’s a Philippine-based fast food chain but you’re not going to find any other one nearby. They have fried chicken, spaghetti, burgers, and other things. The food kind of reminds me of Hawaiian food in that it feels like a combination of American stuff and Asian stuff. I really like their spicy chicken sandwich. I dare say it’s better than Popeyes. My friends and I have had several taste-offs, and they come in pretty close to each other. If one of the restaurants is having a good day and the other one has a bad day, it could go either way. Their spaghetti is also good. It’s unusual because it has little slices of hotdogs in it, kind of like SpaghettiOs. It also has little dots of cheese that make it absolutely delicious. They also serve a dish called burger steak, which is pretty much like local moco in Hawaii. A seasoned patty with mushrooms and onions and gravy, served over rice with a fried egg. The lines can be really long at the restaurant, especially around meal time. Take a look in the line and you’ll see a lot of black hair. This is a good sign! Asians love this place. You can order via their app, and then pick up food inside in a dedicated takeout area. Works much better if you don’t want to stand behind 50 other people trying to get their food. The restaurant is located in a corner of the mall that is like a little mini Asian food court. There are a couple other restaurants nearby that also serve Asian stuff, and a huge grocery store called seafood city that is kind of like a Uwajimaya. The mall also has a normal food court in another location but this food court is where legit Asian people will...
