Finally, an indoor playground in the south end! Back when my kids were not too much younger, I yearned for something like this in the south end. I was really confused that nobody capitalized on it at Southcenter Mall, which is the biggest mall in Washington State. I've seen similar indoor play areas in Bellevue, downtown Seattle, and the north end, but nothing ever came up in Southcenter until recently. Now that it's here, I'm happy I have another option. The best thing to do is if you're even going to come a few times, go ahead and buy yourself the punch card. It'll save you a little money and you can use it whenever you want. Additionally, if you don't want to make that commitment, but still want to save money, I believe you can try coming after 7pm when they reduce the price slightly. It's not something they advertise, so I don't know if it's official or just something they put on when they feel appropriate. Also, if you're going for a visit, don't forget to bring socks! These places don't allow your child to play if they don't have socks. They'll sell you a pair if you forget, so that's always an option. But why pay for an extra pair of socks when I'm sure your kids have several at home. With preparation in mind, also bring some snacks and drinks. Again, they have some onsite that you can purchase, but it's always an upsell so save yourself some money and bring what you know the kids will like. There's a couple bathrooms onsite, but they're individual use - which is good and bad. If it's busy, then it's bad. If it's not, you get the whole bathroom to yourself. You can leave and come back any time after you pay for that day only. Don't take off your wrist bands if you do plan to come back. It's a little more pricey than similar places, but I consider the time and money spent driving somewhere further just to get the...
Read moreI would like to inquire about the rules of your indoor playground. I brought my two children to play, and they were having a wonderful time, making friends with all the other children.
While playing and running around, one of my children coughed a couple of times, which is completely understandable as children may cough lightly due to physical exertion. However, I felt deeply offended when two other parents—who, in my opinion, were dressed quite inappropriately for a children’s indoor playground (revealing clothing that I didn’t find suitable but chose not to comment on, as I prefer avoiding unnecessary conflict)—reported my child’s minor cough to your staff.
I explained to your staff that my children are not sick; the cough was simply a natural result of running and playing, and nothing more. Despite this, your staff repeatedly came over to wipe down every toy my children touched, seemingly pressured by these two individuals. This created an uncomfortable and stressful atmosphere for us, as it felt like we were being unfairly singled out.
As a result, we chose to leave after only half an hour, cutting short what should have been an enjoyable visit for my children.
This kind of treatment is simply not appropriate. It left us feeling unwelcome and unfairly judged. I would appreciate a response regarding your policies and how you handle such situations...
Read moreNot a great place for birthday parties. I would look elsewhere. This place is expensive and There are other places that have better communication and customer service. I had my daughters 1st birthday here and was extremely inconvenienced by the restrooms being out of order during her birthday party. We were not told prior to our rental that the restrooms were out of order until we arrived for the party, we were not given the option to change dates to a further time where all amenities would be up and running. I had multiple guests have to leave during our PAID time to go to JC penny to take their kids to the restroom and had multiple kids wet themselves and me being the host having to leave and take my other child during my daughters party and leave my guests unattended. And some of my guests had to buy their kids clothes in the mall because they had accidents. We were charged the same amount that someone would’ve had if the restrooms were available. And when I spoke to someone there and was told they couldn’t do anything at first then all I was given in return was a 20 dollar gift card for the play gym for compensation to come back to the facility. I paid over 300 dollars for about 2 hours for my daughters birthday party to be ruined due to this inconvenience. This place is a joke save your money and...
