So way back in 2005 my boyfriend at the time brought me into Zales and he ended up getting me the watch I fell in LOVE with. It was a Rado and it is a gorgeous watch a jubilee that is black airplane ceramic with gold and diamonds in it and guaranteed not to scratch for life!!! Anyways he paid cash and she asked will this be on your credit card or your Zales card and he said neither it will be cash!!! She was kinda shocked because back then it was ALOT plus I could have gotten a brand like Mavado or something but even though I had never seen or heard of Rado I still went with it!!! So they also gave me lifetime battery with the watch and they gave me a paper for that cause they put a sticker on the watch under the face and I knew it was gonna fall off eventually. So I never needed the battery replaced until a couple years ago and I called Zales and they said we don't carry Rado anymore??? And I said we'll I bought it there and my boyfriend purchased it for me and it also had a free battery replacement for life and the lady said no we never sold lifetime battery replacement and I was basically called a liar which I was very upset!!! The sticker had fallen off and I couldn't find the paper because it had been so long and as a matter of fact they had just upgraded there whole computer systems not to long ago and they lost alot of customers information in the process and they were not going to help me at all!!! Well I called corporate and some supervisor finally after speaking to her and she apologized that that lady there in Southcenter wasn't around when we sold Rado watches and she never heard of there being a lifetime battery so anyway I really have a bad taste and worry about buying from Zales again because I have a hard time not having any record of my watch purchase at all and you would think that after spending over 4,000 they would back up there computer information before changing the whole system? It just really scares me someone was that careless and I had to go through hell and be called basically a liar and the whole thing was terrible and don't wish that on anybody EVER!!! THANKS FOR LISTENING JENN...
Read moreZales has terrible customer service. My fiancÊ and I went in to get my engagement ring resized on August 24th. My finger is small so the store manager Nanette said it had to be special ordered and that it would arrive in 6-8 weeks. After the 8 weeks passed we returned to ask her what was going on and she sent another employee to tell us that she would give us as call. We tried talking to her multiple times and called customer service to get in contact with her and she would ignore us or tell customer service that she would give us a call. Customer services had no update on our order either. We finally put in a case through customer service about 12 weeks after we originally ordered. Nanette finally called us after putting a case on her name and apologized. She asked for another opportunity to order the ring. This was in the first week of December. She said that by January 1st we would have our ring and that she would update us every week. She did not keep us updated. We went into the store on January 1st to see what was going on and we were told that she was on vacation. Nami said she would call the vendor about the ring the following day to get an update. She called us back and said it would be ready in 2 weeks. We went in yesterday and they still do not have the ring. We have spoke to every salesperson at that location and no one has helped. All they say is that they will call back or ask Nanette to call us. It has been almost 5 months since we first went in. This is ridiculous. We will be getting married in March and I still do not have my engagement ring! We definitely chose not to purchase the wedding bands with Zales. Do not shop there, they do not care about their customers! I put 1 star, only because it required a star. Otherwise I would give...
Read moreMy fiance and I went in looking for a wedding band for him. We had to ask for assistance even though only one sales person was busy assisting someone else. My fiance asked to see a specific type of ring, and the other couple who was being helped was standing in front of them at the counter, so the sales woman grabbed 2 rings to bring to us on another area of the counter. He didn't like either one, so he explained more in detail what he was looking for.
She brings back one more ring which was not at all like he described (he wanted all black, she brought a diamond studded ring) and got upset when he asked if they had any more that were all black. She rudely told us there were no other rings to show us even though we could see at least a dozen rings like he was describing in front of where the other couple was standing. She refused to help us and turned her back to us when I questioned it. Apparently they were about to close, but we were unaware of this, and a simple, "Hey we're actually closing up, but come see us 'x' time to 'y' time tomorrow and I'll show you all the rest," would have been completely acceptable. The other couple was still being helped, so I don't understand why we were pushed out like that. Extremely unprofessional and left us feeling like we had done...
