I DO NOT GO OUT TO EAT SPENDING MY HARD EARNED MONEY TO BE TREATED SUB HUMAN, AND THAT IS HOW THE STAFF TREATED MY HUSBAND AND ME !!!!! I left very upset with no food and feeling like I was unworthy. The lady that was taking our order decided that she did not want to be kind to me or take my order or talk to me ( for no reason at all) My husband and I went to the mall to watch a movie and he saw the GYRO place, he said lets eat there. We got into line together but as my husband ordered and I tried to ask if the gyro was lamb and beef the lady taking our order gave me an evil look. She then continued to ignore me as she took my husbands order, then deliberately ignored me as I tried to order; BUT decided to top of insult to injury and handed my husbands debit card after the payment for one meal back to me. As if saying to me "I knew you two were together and I am choosing to ignore you and treat you sub human." I decided not to make a scene... I could get food elsewhere(because if i made a scene the way she treated me she might have spit in my food). When my husband got his food (which was bland.. but what can taste good after you get treated like that). He tried to explain to the staff that I had tried to order... that is when the cook got violent and slammed his hand on the counter. My husband, being retired military knows when to defuse a situation; also decided that causing a scene was not worth it and took his food that he payed for and and we left. I guess the staff calls that customer service!! at that rate they are going to go out of business, soon I hope.
I think the staff needs retraining... I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AND I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN... I DO NOT GO OUT TO EAT TO BE TREATED SUB HUMAN!!!! I ALSO WILL TELL MY FRIENDS NOT TO EAT THERE... SO THEY DO NOT GET...
Read moreIt's Tuesday evening around 3pm so it's not too busy and had no line. My friend and I purchased two rice plates. One chicken kebab and one lamb. We were told to wait 15mins because they have to cook the lamb steak ($15). We said sure and seated ourselves near by. We waited about 15mins and went up to the counter to check how the food was coming along. The younger gentleman said they were still waiting. However, there were two plate of food near by. We figured it would be ready in the next few minutes so we waited by the counter. It took another 10mins and the gentleman said "your food is ready." He gave us two small container of sauce and handed us the plate of food that were sitting there (that we figured were ours). I opened up the lamb plate and was very disappointed (wished I had taken a picture. ) it wasn't even a steak! It looked like bits and pieces of lamb chopped up steak. I asked the man behind the counter if this was their lamb plate that they advertise. He said "yes." I said "the portion size is really small." He said "it's normally like that." I said okay...I'm not even sure what to say. He didn't even say sorry for the wait or anything. The food: definitely scored low. Seasoning was off....rice was bland. Hummus was okay. For the amount of money...you are better else where...anywhere else besides this place. If you go here....I hope you have a bether...
Read moreBefore going there, I had looked at the reviews. They were quite bad. Still, I wanted to try it. It’s really interesting that despite the management’s lack of response to reviews, a Mediterranean restaurant with such a low rating is still allowed to operate there. When it comes to the food, there’s definitely a big difference between the pictures they show and what they actually serve. The portions are small, and for example, we ordered kebabs, but they were both small and not good. The rice was really bad too; I’m not sure if it was fresh. Very disappointing. I guess the management at Alderwood Mall not applying any sanctions on this low-rated restaurant makes them feel comfortable, and they neither respond to nor address the negative feedback from customers. When I looked, the reviews were from several years ago, at least 3 or 4 years, and the situation hasn’t...
