In terms of my overall experience, it was very enjoyable. The owner is very friendly, sociable, and lovely to meet and chat with. But with this being a fairly new store though, there can be a few bumps that can be encountered. I ordered the strawberry matcha bingsu where there were glazed strawberries and a scoop of matcha ice cream on the top. The ice cream did feel a little hard at first and I was expecting for it to melt a little into the bingsu. The strawberries did seem a little sour. But for me, it didn’t really ruin the experience for me. One side note I will mention is that the bingsu uses lactose free dairy if I’m not mistaken. Being a person who has an albeit, minor reaction to milk based products, I really appreciate the accommodation. As for what felt like a bit of a dry section with the toppings, the part I really enjoyed was the layers beneath the toppings. The matcha, strawberries, and the shaved ice were thinly layered near the mid to bottom portion of the cup. The blend of the flavors within the layers were what I was looking forward to which I really liked. The balance between the matcha, the strawberries, and the ice consolidated my 4 star review of this lovely bingsu place. And for those who do feel a little discouraged about trying it, I would still say to go ahead try. The owner is very open to improving and constructive feedback. So if possible, give as much feedback so they can be at their best when they accumulate more customers. The staff was also super friendly and welcoming. They took the time to explain the menu, and as a fun surprise, they even gifted us a K-pop photo card, which was such a cute and thoughtful touch. It really shows how much they care about creating a positive experience for their customers.

So excited for a shaved ice place to open inside Southcenter Mall! The stand is located conveniently near the food court so you can get dessert after eating. There’s a lot of yummy flavors but we chose the Mango Bingsu and the Strawberry Bingsu. They are very generous with the fruit portions here, and the size was great for 2 people to share one order. The 3 of us shared 2 orders and we were all very satisfied after. I loved the red bean in the middle of the Strawberry Bingsu, and the ice cream paired nicely with the Mango Bingsu. My toddler loved both flavors and kept asking for more. Can’t wait to try some of the other offerings here and definitely recommend...
