I ordered jalapeño chicken and fries. This is my go to at this burger spot. Todays visit will be our last. My chicken was still pink. I called it over the first employee who’s attention I could get. It was an older lady in scrubs, explained to her that my chicken was not completely done and showed her that it was still pink. She looked absolutely puzzled and called over a different waitress. She told her that someone else would have to take care of it. At that point our waitress (I believe the servers name is Amy. I do know that she is the sister to the owners wife) walks past our table and the older lady tells her that we needed her. She comes over, I show her the still slightly pink chicken and tell her that it was not completely done and when I bit into it, it was rubbery. The older lady returns from the kitchen and says, they said to bring it back and takes the basket. Our waitress then asks, do you want it remade. I say no, because at this point she seems bothered. She walks over to her tablet and never returns to our table. We go to pay our bill (it was dropped off almost as soon as the food) and they had taken off maybe $1.50. I said, no, that is not correct. My chicken was not completely done and they took it away. The cashier says, I don’t know anything about that so I will let Amy handle that. Amy then walks up and says, you ate the chicken, I am not taking it off. I said , no you took the chicken. She then says because you didn’t want it. We go back and forth over me not wanting it because it wasn’t cooked fully and she says but you ate half (which I didn’t). She finally agrees to take off the chicken but says I am not taking off the fries. Which was fine because I did actually eat half of them. She got loud and made the comment about people wanting to eat for free. We visit this place often enough for others to remember our order and always pay without issue. But she always seems to be more than bothered and we try to avoid her area at all costs. Today we were luck enough to sit in her area and get...
Read moreI've never tried Ron's at 15th and Denver and needless to say I won't ever make this mistake again! Before I continue stating why it was a terrible mistake, I will point out and give them credit for their Onion Rings they were the best part of the meal, honestly they were extremely good. So We order the Big daddy ( with added bacon) along with a side of chilly cheese fries and they were a soggy greasy nasty mess! No flavor just grease and what appeared to be chilly. Furth more, we also ordered grill chicken ranch sand which, which again was saturated with soggy grease and absolutely no flavor at all! I would not recommend eating at this location to anyone. I was very disappointed with the food. On the bright side, its on the lower end of the money scale, therefore you do get a lot of food...
Read moreMe and hubby had our anniversary vacation dinner here as he loves chili and I don't. I got a grilled chicken sandwich that was off the chain! He ordered the Frito chili pie and loved it as well. He even begged me to try it knowing I don't like chili at all but I was so amazed with my chicken sandwich that I had him try it and it was only fair for me to try his. Let me just say, for someone that pretty much despises chili, that was really good. We also shared a side of tater tots, we loved them. The sweet tea we both got was perfect. I was really amazed from the minute we walked in the door till we left. The waitress was awesome and the food came fast. Best experience in a fast food restaurant that we have had in quite some time. I definitely recommend this place. Thank you...
