To start, the iced black coconut tea is a refreshing delight. This unique beverage combines the boldness of black tea with the subtle sweetness of coconut, creating a harmonious blend that is both invigorating and satisfying. It's the perfect way to quench your thirst and awaken your taste buds.
The vegetable spring rolls and shrimp spring rolls at Roppongi Ramen are a testament to their commitment to quality and flavor. These rolls are not only beautifully presented but also bursting with freshness. The vegetables are crisp and vibrant, while the shrimp is succulent and perfectly cooked. Each bite is a burst of flavor that leaves you wanting more. The accompanying dipping sauces add an extra layer of complexity, enhancing the overall experience.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the ramen. Roppongi Ramen takes this traditional Japanese dish to new heights. The pork belly ramen is a true masterpiece. The broth is rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. The pork belly is tender and melts in your mouth, while the perfectly boiled egg adds a creamy and indulgent touch. The noodles are cooked to perfection, providing just the right amount of chewiness. Every spoonful is a symphony of flavors that will transport you to ramen heaven.
Not to be overshadowed, my wife's chicken teriyaki rice bowl was equally outstanding. The chicken was tender and juicy, perfectly glazed with a delectable teriyaki sauce. The rice was fluffy and served as the perfect base for the flavorful chicken. It was a dish that left my wife speechless and craving for more.

Read moreI would like to start by saying I have visited Roppongi 6 times since moving downtown, and tried nearly everything on the menu in that time. I want to love it because it is a small business and it is close to where I live but… there are some great things and things that leave room for improvement. I do not enjoy the ramen. The website lists the pork belly ramen as coming with shoyu broth, based on the color and flavor I think this is incorrect it is more a tonkatsu. The soft egg’s quality is wildly inconsistent. The texture and flavor are never the same and it swings from tolerable to bitter and spoiled. The pork belly itself is tough and fairly bland. And comes in rather large chunks more than the cleanly rolled spiral I find from more traditional/authentic ramen shops. I think there is a lot of room for deviation from “tradition” and “authenticity” while maintaining quality- but Roppongi has missed that mark. I think the only time the product is worth the price is on Thursday when it is 1/2 off. Furthermore The Banh-mi is served on the wrong bread and as such is often quite soggy before I can finish the sandwich. The sauce served with it is phenomenal though and certainly worth a try. The appetizers are fairly good. The steak skewers have excellent flavor, but tend to be rather tough as well. At least theyre small bite sized chunks so you dont have to grind away at them for long. The crab gyoza is very spicy, but worth trying. The staff is very kind and welcoming, but I have often had to correct my order because of missing items, or other small errors in preparation. I admire their commitment to the environment but charging extra for take out seems a bit absurd to me. I think it really comes down to them knowing that their atmosphere (very cute!) makes up for what the food lacks. All in all- if your goal is a great bowl of ramen try elsewhere. If you want a cute place to sit and enjoy a decent boba beverage this is a marvelous place! I have been as thorough and fair as I can be, and wrote the review I wish I had seen before walking in the door. I won’t be going back, they’ve exhausted my 2nd chances. Perhaps you will have...
Read moreI absolutely love this place. I had never heard of it before but I was doing some work on their restaurant about a year ago to install a door. I had gotten there early and started working. I noticed a heavenly smell coming from the kitchen which was very tidy and clean and I started getting hungry. I asked what they were making and it was the pork belly. They told me it was one of their more popular meats. I was told it was great in the pork belly ramen. I was a little shocked at how long they had to slowly cook it between the grilling and braising while taking great care to get it to that perfect point without over cooking it. So when i finally finished I was starving. I ordered the pork belly ramen and the shrimp street noodles with an unsweetened black coconut tea. I obviously over ordered so I could try two things and I couldn’t finish it all. Everything was fantastic. I have been back at least 30 times since and every time I have been treated very well and the food has always been great. I see some not so great reviews but I have never had a complaint. A couple of times it was warm inside due to ac problems but it didn’t change the food. And shoutout to the employees that continued to work in that hot box while still providing me excellent service and great food. I just ate here today and it was awesome as usual. The ac was working well and all who were dining seemed to be enjoying themselves. I live 45 minutes away and am only able to eat here when I’m working reasonably close. I have tried several of the dishes here at at least 10 other establishments around tulsa, owasso, and broken arrow that sell similar Japanese style foods and I have been disappointed at all of them. On top of that, Roppongi has the better prices as well. I didn’t even know about half price ramen Thursday’s. $11 for delicious pork belly ramen is outstanding any day of the week. I ate at a place yesterday that charged me $19 for their ramen and it was terrible. I had to visit Roppongi today to make it right. Kudos to all you do. As long as this place is in business I will eat...
