The store is located on the eastside of AZ Route 64 in Grand Canyon Village, just a few miles south of the Grand Canyon National Park south entrance gate. This appears to be a newer store, or the staff does a great job of maintaining this facility. There is plenty of parking around the perimeter of the store, along with your standard drive-through lane. The store provides plenty of dining tables both inside and outside the store and uses kiosk machines for customers to place their orders. The entire store, including the restrooms, was clean and well-maintained by the staff. We have no comments in reference to the staff, since we had really zero interaction with them except when they brought out our food. The food was served in a time manner, hot, fresh and everyone enjoyed their meal. However, be advised since this store is located close to the National Park, the prices were slightly higher and there is no separate soda fountain dispenser in the dining area and if you want extra sauce for your McNuggets, they will charge you for it.

Coming into this McDonald is coming into the future of all McDonald in the country. The place is very open, bright, modern, no human interaction, and the staff did not interact with the customers until we demanded help. Certainly, after our order was taken by a human, other customers lined up to place their orders. McDonald tries their best to reduce the man power in their stores. I felt this is not the time to do so. It would be helpful if they assign a staff to oversee customers using the kiosk. The kiosk technology is using older technology and it was designed not user friendly. I hope McD can improve their kiosk to use voice recognition for what the customers wanted to order and the item will show on the screen to customize the specific order. Having smaller graphics and show more food/drink list will be easier for the users. This review was written in May 2024.

On a trip to the Grand Canyon, we stopped to get breakfast. My wife ordered a sausage biscuit with cheese and a round egg. After paying a premium price, 29 dollars for 4 sausage burritos a hash brown and her sandwich, we discover that it had no cheese. We brought it back on the way back from the Canyon to get it corrected. Now headed home, my wife takes a bite of her sandwich, bitting into a huge concentration egg shells. She was done. Worst though, after eating 3 of the sausage burritos for breakfast, my intestinal track was exploding. We called the McDonald's to complain, and was told to go to our local McDonald's to get it rectified. After a miserable day and night on the toilet, I am not interested in ever eating another thing from McDonald's ever.

I got to this McDonald's and we arrived but we missed the drive thru menu and the mcdonalds was completely empty in drive thru so we approach the window because we thought they didn't have it and the women who continuously ignored us and tried to refuse to give up her name opened the window with a bad attitude telling me sarcastically that we missed the window but we asked if we could order there because we knew what we wanted and she kept sending us around in a bad attitude not letting me speak and she made us reverse all the way back because she felt like it. Her exact name is unknown but it was something like "meoshi" and she had tattoos on her fingers and had crutches. So when we were finally ordering and got to the window i tried talking to her and she closed the window and continuously gave us her back and when we asked for her name and were leaving she start telling her co-worker something insulting. I have never received such bad service anywhere else and we are travelling on a trip all the way from Florida and my son only eats McDonald's on trips unless no other option so you could imagine that we go from mcdonalds to McDonald's all across the country and the service here is the worst that I have ever experienced I don't recommend this McDonald's to anyone passing through. Very...

We went to this McDonald's to wait for our Grand Canyon tour to start. Let me 1st start off by saying that I love Big Mac's, always have. It is always a hit-or-miss if the Big Mac is going to be made correctly. Normally it is a miss, being too soggy. This place gave me the best big Mac that I've had in a very, very long time. Bravo. Now to the real review. This McDonald's and their crew saved us twice! Word to the wise, you cannot get a Uber or Lyft from the Grand Canyon. It took us forever to find a cab to come from Flagstaff and by the time we did the McDonald's lobby was closed. It was seriously cold outside, so one of the workers came outside and told us to come in and wait, even though their lobby was closed to the public. He was an older gentleman and super sweet. Fast forward almost 2 hours and our cab finally arrives. We were so excited that my husband left his cell phone behind. We had to leave before morning the next day heading for the 3rd leg of our trip. Going back to retrieve his phone was not an option. We called McDonald's and they found the phone. The manager Tammy, went above and beyond to make sure that within 24 hours the phone arrived to us at our next destination. Top notch staff....

I work at The Grand Hotel, and every so often come here when I'm tired of the awful employee food we get served. The location is either clean as a whistle or mildly dirty. It seems to be dirtier at night when I go, though I believe the dining area closes around 10 or 11? The food is what you'd expect from McDonalds, though again, depending on the time of day, it might not be piping hot. I'm not fond of the price tag which as many reviews have pointed out is very high, though I understand why. It's the middle of nowhere, and shipping the prep materials all the way out here is a nightmare with the cost of fuel and the ridiculous distance of the location from any real civilization aside from maybe Flagstaff, which is about an hour away. So for me, the price tag isn't my favorite, but I do understand why it's so high. Food here is expensive in general. Pizza Hut's mediums are 25 bucks, and that's the biggest they have.

Anyway, the location is variable in cleanliness, the staff are fairly pleasant, and overall, I don't mind it. Three stars simply for the fact that it's often closed when I...
