Farace's Finest Pizza & Pints — Restaurant in Tybee Island

We came from Athens Ga, I know I know, why would we be looking for a good pizza place when we are obviously in the heart off seafood country. But, we’ve eaten at some of the best pizza places all over the country. The best so far is a known place In New Jersey. So we were here on Tybee for 7 nights, I had a retirement briefing I had to go to for the military so we decided to make a vaca out of it. I have to say, this place was great, the food was way better than any pizza joint around Athens (including Athens favorite peppinos or fully loaded). A very simple menu and we went twice in a week and tried multiple pizzas and got the garlic knot every time because they were honestly the best. We got the meat pizza and the veggie pizza the first time and the Caesar salad and the supreme pizza the second time, neither disappointed even though I’m not a fan of supreme I still gave it a shot and ate it with everything on it, it’s all fresh, sliced thin, and has a ton of flavor. The live music was great, no one famous of course, but it added a nice touch, I brought my dog (a pitbull) which was welcome by a handful of locals so I didn’t have that awkward feeling you normally have by bringing a “vicious” pit around, they had dog bowls available to give your pet water. Plenty of outside seating, just a great atmosphere. Good choice of beer, mix drinks, and other adult beverages. Staff was great, although there was some confusion on military discounts the second time I went, which is fine, I’d rather support local businesses with out a discount and wouldn’t leave a bad review because of it. Overall, definitely worth it, honestly beats the “seafood restaurants” like “Fannie’s or Pier 16” if your looking for a good place to chill and eat...

First time trying pizza from Farace's Finest Pizza and we are a fan! Our pizza 🍕 torn when they took it out so while making us a new one they gave us garlic knots on the house. They were amazing! We also has a Caeser salad which was very fresh. The pizza is the best on Tybee in our opinion. We ordered a sausage and pepperoni which did not disappoint! Highly recommend this place! We were a little worried when we heard they'd only been open for 4 days, but we saw no evidence of kinks that needed to be worked out! 😃 All the food was delicious.
