Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Union Township

Family and I went through drive through. We were the first ones to be helped. Asked for Fry's to be fresh....paid at window and lady said " sorry, but we will have to have you wait here at the window for 4-5minutes"...we thought...ok, no biggie...well, cars keps lining up behind us, and 4-5 minutes turned into 10, and that 10 turned into 20 minutes. We ordered ONE platter! A number 12! No drinks! Literally in ONE little box Fry's, hush puppies, 3 pieces or fish and two chicken( switched out a chicken for an extra fish) ...and it took them over 20 minutes to make it. My mom who usually doesn't get perturbed said as we drove away, " it doesn't usually bother me, but it bothers me whenever it looks like a bunch of workers are just standing around and chit chatting lollygagging around ". And I agree! So, to sum it it up, we just finished eating. The food was hot , it was fresh, but it SHOULD be like that anyway! We were missing a hush puppy though. I ate part of a half piece of chicken and threw the rest away bc it tasted funny, which is a first for me. I rarely eat here....so, it's worth eating here if your food is fresh and you don't have to wait for over 20 minutes to get it! It was bad enough for us, I felt bad for the people...

The food is always fresh and hot, the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because when you order a lot of shrimp and ask for extra cocktail sauce you might be lucky to get 3 total, that is definitely not enough for 18 pieces of shrimp. Other than that! it's always DELICIOUS! UPDATE- You might as well close the doors PERMANENTLY, Every time I go her there is a problem with the hours of operation, the hours on Sunday 11/20/22 are posted to be open until 9pm. Every light in the parking lot, menu board and building was on, I pulled to the drive through and a boy came out and said they were closed at 7pm due to lack of help, Every other restaurant in the area has been open during their posted hours since covid, but not this establishment, it's totally hit or miss, this is beginning to be so frustrating that I'm not going to EVER RETURN to this place again. I'll drive the extra 15 minutes to go to the one in Amelia. You aught to close the doors and lock the Eastgate...

Was given a coupon to receive free items due to an error that they made on an order two months ago this location is never open it's hit or miss. Used coupon tonight they still messed up order them corrected it. But food was ice cold. I personally feel this location should be closed permanently the Amelia location is so much better. I plan on making it my mission to contact corporate and demand changes be made to improve. Also to the manager of this location you need to be fired!!! Your doors are to be open until 9 and yet you tell customers 8 on two occasions we called to use coupon and were told you were out of chicken and fish. Seriously if I were your district mgr if fire you take a good look at the staff and make serious decisions. Families come to your restaurant for quality food we should get what we all spend our hard earned money on to order. If you this location can't hang then close it. Why keep a location open that loses money and doesn't make...
