This review is just for my experience this evening. I did a mobile pickup for dinner I had 5 items and 3 drinks. I sat in that line for over 1 hour before I had to just give up and leave because I had a 4 year old in my car that had to use the restroom and my senior dog needed her medicine.
I should have known when it took 20 minutes to move a single spot and I pulled right up to the speaker box too, it wasn't a long line. I have no idea why it was taking as long as it did, but it was ridiculous.
When I pulled up to the second window to get my order they repeated an order that wasn't mine, so I politely said no that's not me. Im assuming thats because at least 3 cars left the line ahead of me, they got tired of waiting. The man at the window asked what I ordered and I told him the order, gave him the mobile code, and also told him my name on the order. He had no idea. He walked away from the window and then proceeded to throw away 5 drinks he had lined up at the window and 3 bags of food, I have no idea why. I'm assuming it was the orders of the people ahead of me that left. He then came back to the window and told me to go to the 2nd pick up window, where I sat for another 20 minutes before I just gave up.
What really frustrated me is that I ordered this all on the app and there is no way to request a refund, so I have to call them, which is fine, but again it's the fact I sat there for over an hour and not a single explanation or sorry for the poor service. I hadn't ordered McDonald's in a long time because of poor service before so I guess shame on me for thinking this would be ok now. Every time I go here though I have to wait an extended amount of time and usually have the order messed up in some way. This visit I just had takes the cake. I sat in drive thru for THIRTY minutes. The order taking process, I get isn't entirely their fault, if a customer takes a while ordering. Nothing can be done. But from the time I actually ordered to getting food was roughly 10-15 minutes. I pulled up to the second window (after paying) where you get your food. Nobody was at the window present. I saw drinks just sitting in queue and bags of food waiting. I sat for roughly 5 minutes (still nobody walked up to the window) and could hear people in the kitchen area just shouting. Some guy walks up and says "man I have no idea what's going on.. You got a large coke right?" "Yup". Proceeds to hand me the coke and says, " have a good one." without handing me my food. I told him I got food too, a lady walks up (I'm guessing a manager) and asks what I got on my order, and then hands me the bag of food. I get home and I got a totally different drink than I ordered and the food was messed up too. I waited THIRTY minutes for this. I work and live in Eastgate and this is just ONE of many visits and consistently get service like this, if any DM's or higherups are reading this.. I know you spent a lot of money relocating this store and building it, spend some more money on better staffing, management, and training. I ordered a #3 Double Quarter Pounder meal and a #5 10 piece chicken nugget meal and I end up with a single quarter pounder in a dou le quarter box You can put a cheeseburger in a Double Quarter Pounder box does not make it a Double Quarter Pounder because the box says so. When you call the restaurant no one answers it rings and rings and Rings until they asked for remote access code. Walk into the location dialing the phone number just to find out if it rings in the restaurant and you hear nothing. When I asked the crew member that finally addressed me after several others walked away completely ignoring me seeing me with a bag and a receipt in my hand. They're paying $15 an hour for crew members however if you can't simply get a double and a single straight then honestly they're going to have more problems. I did not see a manager nor was I addressed by a manager. Many people behind the counter we're not even dressed in McDonald's uniform. Don't appreciate being lied to my face when I confronted the crew member with my issue for as much as we pay for the meals the least they can do is get it correct that's all we're asking it's...
