Good Hamburger update 2025. If you can get one. Ordering at the bar to go at 7:30 p.m., the bartender put my order in. She was clearly understaffed and handled her orders from wait staff all while serving food and beverages at the bar as efficiently as humanly possible. She understood her job. As patrons came and went at the bar, 45 minutes passed, and I had bupkis. The bartender was apologetic. At one point, I asked to speak with the restaurant manager. The busy bartender stepped away to deliver my request. Upon her return, she told me the manager told her to tell me she was too busy to speak at that time. I continued to wait, and again the bartender apologized and offered a refund, which I declined and continued to wait thinking the mgr would come over . The couple next to me, who were drinking and eating, commented about my wait as they munched down on an order that was likely put in 15 to 20 minutes after my to-go burger. They really need another person behind the bar amd perhaps a floor manager who understands the concept that telling a patron their order isnt a priority doesn't cut it. I decided to go to the manager since she was too busy to speak to me at the bar. As I approached her station, she was walking out, and I asked if she was the manager, and yes, she was. And as I complained and asked about where my to-go burger is, she said, and I paraphrase, my order wasn't a priority and nodded toward the dining room. I told her had I been told of the ranking of priority and the long wait before I placed my order that would be better practice I took the bartender up on the offer of a refund, and at the split second that she handed me the register copy, the mgr came to bar with my to-go order came out, which I refused. I was so humiliated and agitated I spoke with a very kind front desk manager who offered to make it right. I won't be going back. I've been coming to the Valley for 20+ years and the last 5 or 6 years and never experienced anything like this. If you have time on your hands, can avoid ordering takeout, and are prepared to be treated rudely if you complain, it is a...

My party had a great meal: Elk Nachos, Fig and Goat Cheese Flatbread, and Ribs. We had an excellent waitress: Sigi.
Shortly after having drinks, the table next to ours had a few mixups with their meal (gluten free). The situation continued to get worse…it seems the staff/kitchen had trouble with the requests of the guest. I watched a male server argue with the guest, this is the same server who delivered the 3rd plate of food, I watched the male server slam the food down on the table, the patron had a question but the server rapidly walked away, while the guest tried to get the male servers attention for a question of the food. After delivery of the food, I watched the same server talk with kitchen/bar staff, about the “challenging guest” how unprofessional, as the kitchen and bar can be seen from where all the guests sit.
Regardless if the guest is right or wrong, the situation brought the atmosphere in the restaurant down. Upon the evening manager talking with guest in distress, there were 2 other guests who got out of their chair and who were in the face of the gentlemen who was just trying to get his meal, with the proper dietary requests. This moment could’ve started a fight, a drink being poured on someone, or worse for the restaurant: a video gone viral.
The entire staff needs deescalation training, immediately! The only person who tried to deescalate the situation was the server of the table Sigi, (she was in a difficult spot—as staff continued to make the situation about them). I doubt the guest came in to enjoy a difficult meal, I doubt the staff wanted unpleasant experience for their guest.
I would hate to see what how problems are handled during the busy season. Why not comp the meal…3X bringing out the same plate? Why allow multiple staff to interact with a table “the restaurant can’t get right”.
If this were my business, my manager for this evening is fired, and so is male server who slammed the...
Read moreMy friends and family visited the Bully Ranch on December 27th around 8 PM. There were seven of us, and we all sat at the bar. I’m not usually the type to leave negative reviews, but this experience warrants it.
Our service with Jackie was disappointing, but what’s worse is that four out of the seven in our group ended up with food poisoning that night after eating the Bourbon Burger. I’ve called the hotel twice since then, and both times I provided my information and was told a manager at the Bully Ranch would call me back the same day. Unfortunately, I have yet to hear from anyone.
For a $500 bill, the lack of follow-up is unacceptable. This experience ruined our trip and left most of my group feeling sick for days. It’s clear this place cares more about taking your money than providing good service or addressing serious concerns.
I strongly recommend avoiding this place.
Edited 1/13: It would be nice if the owner could explain why, after multiple attempts to contact you, I have been completely ignored. Yet, you somehow have time to respond to a review and blame a "stomach bug" for the food poisoning our group got from eating here. How convenient that all four of us who ate the burger mysteriously got sick, but the three others who didn’t eat it were completely fine.
For anyone reading this, take note of how little this place cares about its customers. This place is a total health hazard, and I hope no one else ends up with food poisoning, or whatever "unfortunate stomach bug" they want to blame it on....
