Visited Gondola One on Saturday and was surprised that there was no any line around at 10am. We didn't need to wait in line. Gondola ride is very expensive and short (around 10-15 mins), but I would say it's still worth of it. When gondola brings you up to Mid Vail, you can find many hiking or bicycling paths there. Mid Vail has only few restaurants and these are a bit too expensive for this kind of food. Bringing own snacks might be smarter option.
Gondola ticket is valid for one day, and with same ticket you can also ride other gondola (Eagle Bahn) which we did! We came up using Gondola One and did hiking to Eagle Bahn Gondola and came down with that to Lionshed Village.
Views are beautiful from Mid Vail and also around Eagle Bahn Gondola where they have nice view point...

There are a few trails to chose from at the top of the mountain. Tons of people biking down. There were trekking poles that you can borrow when you exit the gondola, that was nice. There is a roller coaster ride at the top which we honestly didn’t look in to. I think adults could do it too but it seemed like it was mostly...

Lionshead has an observation deck once exiting, so if you want to start low, then go high, Vail Village first and...
