We stopped for dinner and cocktails on a Saturday evening. The place was decorated well, with very Deco modern interior. Sleek lighting and contemporary booths. The acoustics made it a bit challenging with all hard surfaces and little sound absorption. The service was great, with delightful descriptions of cocktails, wine and food. The food was a bit of a let down, following such in depth descriptions of it from our server. The lamb chops were seasoned well and cooked perfectly, but could have benefited from better cleaning and removal of excess fat. The sweet and spicy chicken sandwich was over cooked, but flavorful. The Elote was delicious. Overall, it was a standard to above par experience. The food and cocktails were slightly high priced, but to be expected in Vail.

We wanted to do dinner and bowling but ended up only doing dinner because we didn’t have a reservation which obviously was on us and not them. The restaurant was nice and the service was really good but I was a bit disappointed in the food. I initially ordered the sliders but had to ask them to take it back because it wasn’t as flavorful as I expected. As a replacement I got the ribs which were amazing even though I could’ve done without the peanuts. Most of the dishes we ordered were just ok, nothing amazing, but overall a good experience!

Super cool venue and restaurant. Located in the center of Vail Village next to the open air ice rink, it's a great spot if you are staying in town for a few days and looking to change up your activities. The restaurants menu has a mix of sharable apps and full meals and has a bowling alley in the back for after dinner. Huge TV screens dominate the back wall and offer a festive and fun vibe. There is a large bar in the front of the restaurant as well. Worth a visit, even if it's just for a meal or a drink.

We’ve been to Deca Bol every year since coming to Vail and every time? It’s been consistently amazing! While I haven’t read the other reviews to see why Deca Bol’s rating is pretty low at 4.2 at this moment while I’m reviewing it, I think at the very least they deserve a 4.4 and up. Why? Their service has been on point regardless of whom we have as waiters/waitresses and busboys/girls. Their management team must be doing something right here. Despite the rather low rating, their turn-out from whenever we were here has always made it appear they were a pretty hot spot for groups/get-togethers. Not to mention, the spacious decor was on par and there’s always something for everyone. Whether you want to plop yourself down for a drink and sit at the bar to watch sports, they’ve got that. Food allergies, restrictions, or preferences? Sure, they’ve got it pat down and with a smile. You want to celebrate a special occasion like a birthday? Deca Bol’s easily got you on this too. (And there’s always a celebration going on. Fun!) You want to play a round or two or more of bowling? It’s a no brainer, they’re all for it. We all dig how casual yet fun and engaging this joint has been. On top of that, the food’s pretty awesome. We haven’t had a bad meal here. Everyone’s dishes turned out delicious. Our waiter who hailed from Boston was probably the best we’ve had on all our yearly trips here but trust us - all the waiters/waitresses were awesome and let’s not forget, the busboys/girls. You simply cannot go wrong. Pat yourself on the back, you’re doing a stupendous job here and we can’t wait to come back...

Never going back. I usually don’t right reviews but thanks to manager Josh our night not was ruined… We booked this reservation a month in advance for my husband’s birthday. We booked dinner and bowling after. When we booked we called to verify everything was good and we called again 3 days before our reservation. We have 2 young children that were super excited to bowl. When we got there they said they couldn’t find our reservation for bowling only for dinner. Got past all that which our kids were super upset about which was super fun taking to the manager about. You can tell the manager Josh had 0 sympathy or heart. Next they stuck us at a table in the middle of the floor when multiple booths were open. When I asked if we could go to a booth they said no yet people that say after us at a booth wanted a table and they switched them? Next I asked if they do anything for birthday and they don’t..no candle no nothing…From the moment we walked in they made us feel VERY unwelcome. To top all this off they put that we “canceled” our reservation on open table so I couldn’t leave a review so here I am on google warning people before you plan your entire trip on this...

I went here with my friend for dinner and bowling. Our waiter was French, and so he misheard when we ordered the Crudite and accidentally gave us a Charcuterie Board instead. I told the waiter that if they didn’t want to waste the food, we could keep it and just be charged for the crudite we ordered, without getting the crudite. The waiter was apologetic and agreed to that solution. However, as we were about to pay our bill, the manager approached us and told us we must pay for the charcuterie since we ate it. We explained that we had told the waiter it wasn’t what we ordered, and we ate it with the knowledge we would only be charged for the crudite. The manager was incredibly rude and unaware. Keep in mind we were already paying almost $200 for 90 minutes of bowling on top of the coat of food… I would expect much better service and courtesy. I hope this manager is fired and someone realizes he is hurting business with his ego. He would rather throw food in the garbage than own up...
