I donāt write online reviews ever, but I feel that Iāve had no choice but to write about this because of my frustrating experience with Kemosabe. I went to the Vail store and wanted to buy some boots. They didnāt have them in my size so they said theyād order them from the Aspen store and have them delivered to my house in 4-5 days. Those days came and went and my boots never showed up. I emailed customer support to see what was going on, as they had never sent me a confirmation email or any shipping information so that I could track the package. Anyways, after receiving a call from customer support, I was told that it was their fault that they hadnāt shipped the order, and that they would get it to me by tomorrow. I was satisfied with that answer and waited for the boots. A few days had passed, and still no boots. I emailed and called customer support and after a few days they finally told me that they were going to refund me for the boots, without a sound explanation as to why they couldnāt ship it, or why they didnāt bother to tell me until I had to reach out multiple times. They did refund me for the boots, but not for the pricey shipping fee. I told them this and they said theyād look into it within the next couple of days. Iāve been told this multiple times already, that someone is on vacation or that they are out of office. I donāt feel that they are pursuing this urgently at all. I am still dealing with this as it has been over 2 weeks since Iāve purchased these boots. Iāve been kept in the dark about what is going on. I assume that they never ordered my boots, and in the meantime sold them to someone else, hence the prompt refund. For such a prestigious brand, Iām shocked at the lack of accountability and recklessness Kemosabe has been with my money and time. I didnāt want to be that person and complain online, but I feel that I have no other choice than to make this public. For anyone who is thinking about ordering from Kemosabe and having your item...

When I first started in Vail, I was a front desk agent at the Arabelle. Someone had left a hat from this store and it was in lost and found for a while. Usually items and lost and found. If they're not picked up we get to claim them and take them home. That's how I got my fly fishing set up.
When I was a concierge that used to have us around town in all the shops and restaurants so we were educated on what they sold and what they were all about. We went into this shop for their concierge event and my buddy Rory who is an electrician now? Was working there and made me a koozie. It's got my initials on it. He also branded my billfold with my initials.
Another time I went into this store I was looking for a new wallet when I lost my dad's. This was before I had my own billfold. When I went to go look I found one I liked and asked about the price and she told me something really expensive like $500. I said in response " Do I get to keep any money to put in it after I buy it?"
Now that I kind of have some I would like to spend it on you. I bought a coca cola, that's about it till you find me. It's not fun spending it alone like that.
I think you're close but I don't want to get heartbroken again and I don't really drink anymore so I don't really go out to restaurants or bars...
I'm on a "pop-secret" mission and a few other people know the super secret language and code. I hope you can figure it out and join me on the mission...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis past weekend we went on a girls trip to Vail and the one thing I didn't want to leave without was a new Kemo Sabe hat. The store was incredible, I loved my purchase and we were offered any drink of choice while we waited in line for the next available associate. When we finally got called in, she asked what we were looking for. I gave her my budget and everything went downhill from there. It was almost like she was PISSED I wasn't spending $1500 on a hat.
First she was sizing me, so she put a few different hats on my head while I was looking at her. She said "why are you looking at me? Turn around and look in the mirror at yourself??" If we didn't wait in line for an hour, I would have walked right out of the store at that moment. Once we got sized, we were picking out bands to go around the hat. I had a few options that I liked so I asked her which one she thinks looks best? (plus isn't that her job to help style??) she had the audacity to reply "it doesn't matter to me, its your hat."
Additionally, she never introduced herself until the very end. This experience is suppose to be fun and something you don't forget. All the other groups looked to have the best experience laughing and getting to know their stylist where we couldn't even get a smile or the girls name. It's sad to spend this much money to have the worst time. The only reason I didn't give this experience 1 star is because I love my hat and so...
