This location (Vernon Hills, IL) continously messes up the online order pick ups. The first time I ever ordered from here, they messed up my order. I contacted them and spoke to an older employee who was very dismissive even though i was very polite and explained they completely gave me the wrong sandwich. I ordered a regular chicken sandwhich and they gave me a completely different sandwich that was also spicy which we never ordered. I told them i could not drive back that day so i was advised i would receive a coupon in the mail for a free entree, which i never received. Again i placed another order and this time they gave me the right sandwich however we ordered NO pickles but they put pickles on the sandwich still. This location needs to work on being more accurate with their orders and when packing orders. I will not return to this location especially after being lied to that i would receive something in the mail. Also, i dont think it's okay for an employee to tell the customer "oh yeah, i know where youre at" after giving my address to receive a coupon. I am a food delivery driver. When I arrived, the order wasn't ready. No problem. The staff tell me they are wrapping it up.
A moment later I get a notification on my app saying the order is ready. I inquire, and Blanca says they are working on the shakes.
I try to explain to her that marking orders ready when they are not hurts the delivery drivers, because it looks like we are letting orders sit. We could lose ours job.
What did she do instead of apologizing, taking responsibility, and promising not to jeopardize people's livelihoods?
She put her hand in my face and told me to, "calm down."
For someone who is having their job endangered by sabotage, I was calm.
Not once has telling someone to, "calm down" been recommended in deescalating a situation.
