Sandbar Surf Bar — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

I wish my experience could have been better instead the ONE cashier they had doing everything got too lost in his transactions & said he was not given money for my order which he was and I wasn’t given A RECEIPT. Talked to one of the managers and told him what was done incorrectly instead of going the proper way about it he just asked the same cashier “who already had a lot going” what happened. When I asked did he watch the cameras to see the transaction he stated “he was too busy to be doing that” so instead of seeing if ME the customer was right and serviced as I should’ve been .. he choose to listen to the incorrect words of someone that was already doing a lot. The same cashier I watched, “because I was waiting on my order”, at one point give the wrong order to someone then take it back after she already opened it then serve it to the right person. Very Insanitary. I guess when they count down the register tonight & see it is over $17 they’ll just take it...

Super disappointed my group chose this bar. It was early and they had the music so loud it felt out of place. I get your a club, but it's like 4pm. It felt outdated like we were in the 2000s. I asked for a diet soda, it definitely wasn't diet. I asked the bar staff if it was diet, they said "yes". I drank it and my lips were sticky. People in my group also thought it didn't taste like diet. If I was a diabetic we would have had a problem. While I didn't eat anything. Some people in my group enjoyed what they ordered. However they didn't say their orange crushes...

The wife and I just made it down here today and it's her bday today. Had dinner at the holiday inn right across the street told the wife let's go across the street and get a drink ( even though we have a fresh bottle of Don Julio in our room) we walk in and it's not packed At All Big Boy at the bar charged us $40 for 2 shots on the rocks. ALL THE WAY OVER CHARGED!!!!! And it's watch him change the regs less for more drinks. Just be fair no reason to over change just cause ppl be from out of town. That's all the way messed up!!!!!!
