The customer service was amazing. Katlyn was helpful & efficient. We ordered to go. Before her, another employee that was pregnant suggested the Hickory brisket & bacon burger. I told Katlyn I heard a bad review online & I still wanted mine well don’t but not burned like the comment suggested. It was so good. The bacon taste was subtle but the burger was flavorful & delicious. The fries had a natural crunch to them which was good because I don’t like soft fries. I ate my fries with the bjs handcrafted root beer glaze. It was super sweet & you could taste the root beer flavor. I liked it but my husband thought the sweetness was weird. I’m not willing to pay $8.25 for a cookie & some ice cream again but the chocolate chunk pizookie was good. The ice-cream looked more like vanilla bean but was just plain vanilla which was good. The whipped cream had Oreo pieces mixed in & was thicker than normal whipped cream. My husband said it was the best he’s ever had. I don’t care for whipped cream. I tasted it & thought it was alright. My husband had the classic crispy chicken sandwich. This was his 2nd time getting it. It’s a crispy outside with a hint of honey mustard which was more watery & not very flavorful. The sandwich was good. I bit it & loved the crunchy texture. We’ll definitely be going back again. Katlyn said she wanted to make sure we came back & that’s exactly what we’ll be doing. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it was so expensive. $15 & $16 each for a burger & chicken sandwich is expensive.

It's a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the entrance. No one was manning the front so we had to wait a few minutes for someone to notice us. I was struggling just to stand long enough for us to be tended to. Finally after going up two steps and down the length of the bar, we were seated in a booth. The gal who seated us had to wipe off the table first, and my son's bench (she neglected mine and I ended up wiping the crumbs off myself). We ordered drinks and an appetizer. The cocktail was delightful. It was a Frosty Lucky Ducky, served in a bathtub! Cute. Tasty. Original. The pretzel with beer cheese was ... not. It was hard and way too chewy. He said the beer cheese was good though. Next came our burgers. Neither of us were impressed. The tomato on mine was mushy and the lettuce was limp and wilted. My cheddar mashed potatoes were bland and rapidly cooling while I waited for the waitress to bring some butter. When she finally got back, she didn't bring butter but ranch (which I declined). Eventually it was time to order our Pizookies. After an extended wait, they were delivered to our table. I chose Salted Caramel and my son opted for Hot Fudge Brownie. OMG. They were absolutely amazing! Every bite was rich, gooey, cool, creamy deliciousness. Seriously, every bite was heavenly. THAT, and the ducky cocktail, made the visit worthwhile!

This is my 3rd or 4th time here. My family and I are from Pennsylvania and discovered this a year ago and really liked it. We all tried something new this time. We came around happy hour. The beers were good both my dad and my aunt loved their beers. I tried the blackberry margarita and it was not what I was anticipating so I exchanged it for the strawberry mojito. We got the chips and guacamole with salsa appetizer and all of us fell deeply in love with their salsa (it's made in house) the guacamole could have used a little more seasoning. We also had the mozzarella sticks and they were so yummy! 😋 my mom got shrimp tacos and loved the baked beans that came along with it. She did say that the shrimp tacos were not as flavorable as she would havw hoped. My father got a burger and he couldn't put it down! I got the mini deep dish make your own pizza and I wish I got a larger size but I was saving room for dessert. We all got the pzookie and all of us loved the different ones we got. We got the strawberry shortcake, salted caramel, and the smores peanut butter! Our server was pleasant and very knowledgeable! Overall a great visit. Service was lovely and we cannot wait to try new things next time we are in town.

Edit: Update. I've since been back twice and am VERY pleased. Since Covid it's been increasingly difficult to find much take out variety so one night I decided to give this place another chance. The first time I ordered carry out my order was messed up, but every place I've ordered from that doesn't usually do carry out has been regularly messing up orders so I don't hold that against them. The food was still OUTSTANDING and when I called about the order the manager gave me a $35 gift card. The gesture was appreciated but I won't be using it.

I recently ordered from them again this past week. I showed up early for my carry out and was apologized to for the wait even though there were still another 10 minutes before my food should've been ready. They explained that one of my apps was going to take another 2 minutes to finish and it was exactly 2 minutes after the listed time of my order that I had my food, but the manager still acted like it was an issue that I had to wait. Super nice.

Over $150 worth of food and not one thing missing and it was all amazing. I figured based on more recent experiences this review was due for an update. Definitely no longer a 1 star experience.

OLD REVIEW==

Showed up just after 6, was told there would be a 25 minute wait. Walked around the area, went back to the car, took some photos of a double rainbow, and went back in at 6:30. Sat there til after 7 (over an hour) when we checked why people who arrived after us were being seated before us. Somehow my name was moved to another page and had a red thing next to it (unsure what that means). Another few minutes and we get an apology from the hostess and are finally seated.

At this point I was quite hungry and starting to get that nauseous empty stomach feeling and a headache. We sit and check our menus, which are covered in something sticky, and there's some kind of rewards card ad on the table that is absolutely filthy.

Our waitress came over and took our drink orders and as we're ordering appetizers she just walks away without warning. We sat for a couple more minutes a bit confused then decided to get up and leave. Too hungry to wait somewhere else, we ended up going to Golden Corral. All in all a pretty terrible experience. Will...

I went to a Bjs for the first time when I was traveling to Texas, and I was super excited that there was one relatively close to me(1.5 hours). The server that we had was basically nonexistent. He started off very friendly, but it seemed like he was trying to rush my friend and I to order. He did try to recommend items to us, but the menu is so versatile that I just wanted more time to look and see the choices they had and make the right choice, so we ordered a cocktail, which took about 10 minutes to receive. I've worked in the restaurant industry and am very patient when it comes to waiting for drinks and etc, and honestly we were just trying to have a good time and the wait for the drinks was not bad. However, it took us forever to get his attention so we could order, and after we ordered, he basically fell off the face of the earth. The only time we saw him was to drop off the appetizer, entrees, and dessert. He was very inattentive. My food was terrible, and I wanted to send it back, but after over 20 minutes of not seeing him, I just tried to suffer through it. When he finally returned to the table, he asked if we needed any boxes, and I replied with "no thank you, I did not enjoy this at all." to which there was no apology or anything. I ordered everything at one time (I was super stoked about the snickers pizookie, which I highly recommend but maybe ask them to not drown it in chocolate syrup) my friend however was wanting to order dessert after his meal. My dessert came out before he even came back to check on us, so we could not ask for the second dessert until he brought out mine. Once the second dessert came out, the brownie was inedible and rock solid. We looked around for our server, and I ended up bothering this nice waitress to fix the issue. We waited more than necessary and ended up being at the restaurant for over 2 hours. The waiter dropped off the check without a word (I paid using the qr code because I didn't want to risk having to stay there any longer just to wait on the waiter to pick up payment). He came back as we were about to leave and asked if we paid and then handed me a coupon for a free pizookie (which i hope they honor because the date is expired). If I come back, it will definitely not be...

I would give it no stars but, I can’t. Worse service and food ever tonight. I have been to BJ’s Brewhouse before and food and service was excellent. Not sure why tonight was so different. Shortage of employees? Maybe, but still not an excuse for bad service. 1st the server kept forgetting what we ordered, even though she supposedly typed it in the little pad she had. We all had separate bills and she had a problem with adding one person to someone else’s bill, she hadn’t finished taking our orders so it shouldn’t have been a problem. Said that she had to get manager approval for that. What? So we order drinks and appetizers. It took forever to get it the drinks, so much so some had forgot they ordered them. She got one of the drinks wrong even though it was in the pad she typed it in. Then they were out of “sweetener” for the lemonade and ice tea, so couldn’t get that. But they had strawberry lemonade that was so sweet I had to mix water with it. Got appetizers the same time as the dinner. Weird. Oh and I ordered garlic knots and she says the manager forgot to put them in the oven, do I still want them? No ma’am I don’t. Ordered clam chowder, she said she managed to get the last bit before anyone else got it. Um it came out thick and lumpy like mashed potatoes and cold. No ma’am I don’t want that. Then got the broccoli cheese soup it was better but lukewarm. Smh. Got my meal tri-tip steak and 1/2 ribs with the mashed potatoes. I asked for medium rare steak, it was fully cook. Asked her to take it back. She said that the steak is pre cooked and that I can’t get medium rare. What?? Then why ask how I want it cooked. Ribs were burnt. Mashed potatoes had a skin on top like it had been sitting a while. I just told them I didn’t want anything. She didn’t apologize for everything that had gone wrong. Said she would have the MANAGER come talks to us and apparently he refused and sent another server to talk to us. So they comped us dessert. Wow! That took almost 30 minutes and it was WRONG! Really it was a simple Pzookie for everyone. This was the worst service ever. I will wait awhile...
