5-22 Typical poor experience here. Arrived 8 minutes after placing my order in the app. Older lady at the register asked me if I was picking up or needed to place an order. I told her I placed it in the app 8m ago and gave her the name. As the dining room has only 1 other customer she turned to the dining prep line in the kitchen and asked if they were working on my order. They IGNORED her and I waited another 5 minutes for my order. It's a shame that Google doesn't allow negative stars on their reviews. Because this and most of the other local Taco bells would be like negative 10,000 stars by now.
11-13-24 All new low. Was hungry so I stopped in for lunch with a friend. I normally prefer ordering at the kiosk but for some reason the Spicy potato taco wasn't on the kiosk even though it's on the menu board. The older woman taking orders was TERRIBLE and she has been working there forever. It took almost 5 minutes to place my order as she had to get help locating almost every item on the register. And then we waited 10 minutes for our food. I watched the person preparing it and he only prepared one item at a time referring to the screen multiple times for each item. And he still messed up the potato tacos and had to remake them. No such thing as fast food anymore. And for some reason there were 3 managers for the 5 staff I could see and none of them were helping out during the busy lunch.
I didn't think any Taco Bell could take away the crown of being the worst Taco Bell from Jenison. But tonight this one surpassed them by a mile. As delivery driver speed is essential. Yet here I waited 20 minutes for an order plus the time it took me to reach the restaurant. And while waiting I saw employees standing around chit-chatting. As well as a dozen orders go out the drive thru. Which is interesting as only four cars fit between the speaker and the window. So how could their orders have been made before my delivery order. Another gentleman had been there 5 minutes before me to pick up an online order. And then I hear the woman putting stuff in bags commenting "I love how they always say that they've been waiting forever." And the reason why I say that is because you're useless at your job! If you don't want to hear people complain about how slow you are here's a thought, go faster. Or find a job where being extremely slow isn't important. This restaurant takes the fast out of food and turns it into you might as well sit down for an hour and wait to...
Read moreLet me put here first: We live in Wyoming. And typically attend the Jenison and 44th street locations, on a relatively normal basis.
We were on Alpine running some errands. And decided to stop for Taco Bell. The Alpine location was fairly steady through Drive-Thru when we arrived, but really started slamming after we placed our order. We’re a family of 5, so our orders are typically, $50-$60. On more than one occasion, Jenison and 44th street have missed almost half of our order at once in the evening. Too busy rushing us off of their timer and being rude all at once. So, prematurely, we kind of just expected the same thing at the Alpine location.
However, we were VERY surprised and impressed with the quality of our food and every item being accounted for. Not to mention, it came out in a timely manner, considering there was one guy on the front counter line at the time. (I’m assuming jumping back and forth helping Drive-Thru and FC), our wait in total was probably 5-7 mins for lobby. Which again, for a $50 order and 5 people, I consider to be a timely manner compared to past orders and experiences at aforementioned alternative locations.
We walked out completely satisfied, content, and happy. It was absolutely A1 food! The servings sizes and portions (I used to work at Taco Bell) were 100%, making the items as full and satisfactory as they’re SUPPOSED TO BE!
If this location weren’t 20-25 mins away from us, it would be our new home location.
When I went up to the counter to compliment them, the lady I talked to was friendly, energetic and upbeat! And her response was “we definitely have a good night crew”, which is a statement you don’t typically hear too often about night crews. Because it’s usually the toughest and hardest shift. But you could tell she was genuinely happy to hear the compliment on the crew and night shift!
Honestly. I just HAD to leave a raving review. Because it’s very rare that we walk out of a Taco Bell FULLY satisfied.
Thank you Alpine location for giving us the genuine experience of what Taco Bell is supposed to be!
I only wish I would have taken some photos to further prove why this location is deserving of...
Read moreIn this life they say "you get what you pay for". This adage perhaps is never more true than it is when one is speaking of this location. After a long and hard day at work I ordered what I thought would be a fast and mildly satisfying meal. Once I placed my order on the app I didn't receive it until almost twenty minutes AFTER it was supposed to be ready. What's more, despite having a designated pickup area that's not where I received my order. Instead, the associate just brought the order out from the back and called out my name. Walking into the dining room was akin to walking into the middle of a train wreck. NOBODY was working at the front counter. Associates kept circulating from the kitchen to outside of the restaurant and back. It seemed as though nobody was really running things. The other associates were running around haphazardly seemingly without any clear direction. Even as the dining room continued to fill with customers none of the associates acknowledged even one of them. When I did receive my order the associate immediately walked away before ensuring that my order was in fact correct. As it turned out, the beverage I ordered had to be filled behind the counter and she had just given me an empty cup. I had to wait another five to ten minutes before I could get her attention and make her aware of the error. After attempting to put my straw into the drink more than half of it sprayed out of the cup because it wasn't filled properly. Wanting desperately to get away from the chaos I left the restaurant. It wasn't until after I arrived home that I discovered my order had been placed into the bag UPSIDE DOWN. Removing the box of food from the bag led to it all spilling out. Once it had covered the bottom of the bag it was then no longer consumable. I was forced to throw it and the money I spent on it away as well. I certainly was not expecting much. However, I was expecting much more than this. Disappointment is not a near strong enough word to describe my feelings in this...
