This place is so hit or miss. This past (and my last) visit, there was no line in the store. A friend and I both got hot subs, ordered one after another. They asked my friend twice how they wanted the sub and still made it wrong. They started to make mine (or so I thought). I sat down with my friend while they ate and waited for my cheesesteak. Shortly after, a handful of people walked into the store. They got their subs and left, the grill was still going. About 10 minutes pass, maybe 8 or 9 customers total come through the place and leave. At the 15 minute mark, nothing was on the grill and I realized they completely forgot to make my sub, or gave it away to someone else. I had no more time to wait and asked for a refund. They then had the nerve to ask me for my receipt. Well the employee that rushed me down the line, but forgot to make my food didn't give me one!! They were so quick to take the payment though! Finally they credited me back (or so they said) and I left. I don't understand how you have to order one-by-one, charge me, and then didn't even make my food.
The original Jersey Mikes that started a nationwide chain is 20 minutes from this location. How does the quality and service drop off so steeply a few towns over? It seems obvious that the employees have a difficult time keeping up with online ordering and in-store customers. I kept my cool, I didn't give any employees a hard time, I got my refund, and I left. Jersey Mikes won't be wasting my time again. There's a million pizza places and deli's in NJ that can give you quality food...
Read moreJersey Mike’s is always a hit, the food always taste great. The only thing that stinks is the service. Went in today with my fiancé just to grab a quick lunch together, and we are both of Islamic faith. I asked if we could use a separate slicer or if the man can clean the slicer, and another older guy said that he would take us no problem on the other side. I appreciated it greatly and expressed that. What stinks though, is that the man who was taking care of it for us was huffing and puffing the whole time, rolling his eyes and giving us the nastiest attitude. My fiancé asked for a different type of bread twice, only for him to say 'ofcourse you do' with a very nasty tone. I come to this Jersey Mike’s all the time, I have never had any of the guys give me an issue about needing a slicer cleaned, or moving to the other slicer. I don't understand why this time this guy had to be extremely rude about it. this location normally has such exceptionally kind staff, I don't know where they went wrong with...
Read moreThe staff is always very friendly when you visit this location. If you are on lunch break it is hit or miss as there is usually a long line around this time. In my experience only one of the two sandwich counters are open so it makes the process a little slow if you are trying to get food and head back to work. If you are gluten free there are options here for you. They have gluten free bread for a little extra cost, chips that are compliant and gluten free cookies. They will ask you if it is an allergy or preference. If you state allergy they will change knives and gloves and keep your bread on a sheet of paper as to help with cross contamination. This process is highly impressive as they seem to really care about individuals with allergies. If you join their shore points club on your birthday they will send you a coupon for a free sub and drink, this is...
