Boba Studio — Restaurant in Walnut Creek

I finally decided to try this place since I was downtown for something else. I had their strawberry matcha latte and normal matcha latte (to take home) and my boyfriend got the brown sugar boba matcha latte. Their matcha is pretty good. It's not the best I've ever had, but it had a pretty strong matcha flavor and wasn't watered down in any of the drinks. The boba was also nice and chewy in my boyfriend's drink. I don't get boba myself anymore, but it was pretty good. The atmosphere was also cute and the guy working there was very friendly.

My only complaints are that for some reason you can only get 100% or 80% sweetness for their regular matcha latte. For the other drinks you can get 100%-0%. I'm not sure why that is. I prefer drinks that aren't very sweet, so I would prefer getting lower sugar. However, the drink didn't seem very sweet at all at 80%, so that was good. Also, you cannot get "no ice" which I don't like since sometimes I like to take the drinks home to save for another day.

I will definitely be back to try their other drinks...

I was so excited to try the newest boba place in Walnut Creek, but this was the most disappointing boba run of all time. I ordered the taro ube latte, excited for the fresh milk and ground yam flavor. I cannot believe that for over 7 dollars, they gave me a drink that was basically all milk.

This is actually not a latte, just taro ube milk, which would be fine if they put in about 4-5 times the amount of taro/ube they did today.

Have you heard of Moge Tee? They charge in the same price range, considered relatively expensive, but at least they give a good amount of topping! Boba Studio's drink was basically ALL MILK.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Boba Studio cater my daughter’s quinceañera this weekend, and I can’t say enough amazing things about the experience! From day one, their professionalism, communication, and customer service were truly top notch. Selina, the manager, is the sweetest, and her entire team was just as kind and wonderful to work with.

They served three delicious boba drink flavors made fresh on-site, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about them! Everything was beautifully set up and ran so smoothly—Boba Studio added such a fun and special touch to the celebration.
