Read moreI went for my office Christmas party/dinner and it was a nice place. The atmosphere is relaxing yet fun. The lights are dim so its a warm and comfortable feeling but not stuffy. It gets pretty loud in there with the fun atmosphere which i feel makes it better. You order everything ala carte so it could be a little pricey depending on what you order. I got the penne pasta but ordered it with their meat sauce. It was pretty good but the portion was on the smaller side, or maybe i was just too hungry because it took a while to get our food. The desserts were yummy and the servers were very nice. The owner was in there greeting his patrons and making sure everyone was happy with their food/service so i liked that that. The only thing that I would say is that it took a long time for drinks and food to start coming. Then when it did, it took at least 20-30 minutes in between each ala carte item including drinks and drink refills, so to me, It was a little drawn out. It was a few days before Christmas so it could have been extra busy due to office parties etc which could have slowed them down. With that being said, i would definitely go back...i really liked how the owner cares about his patrons and was there chatting with everyone, that shows good character and in this crazy world, we need good people all...
Read moreGreat local Walnut Creek Italian Restaurant that's been around for some time, but well kept up, very clean with modern amenities, TV's of the ballgame, piano playing during weekend dining (when we have visited).
Very clean, has a few bathrooms that are also clean, large bar, it is a formal wear (dress shirt) type of establishment with a casual feel atmosphere. Close proximity to shopping, movie theater, other restaurants, plenty of parking with a parking structure near by, to some meter parking in the front, inside and outside dining, multiple 2 and 4 tops where they also can handle large parties, and the age group seems to be mature 35 and older, but kids are welcomed as well.
Friendly and personable "Italian" customer service, large wine selection from the glass to a bottle, beers and wide variety of spirits (although kind of expensive), food is wonderful (and reasonably priced) and every time we say we won't be getting a desert, we can't resist and we order a Crème Brulee with berries (our favorite) with a cup of coffee, or an espresso to top the night (and my stomach).
Great Place, where we visit once every...
