Five Guys — Restaurant in Washington

Once in a while I need to break my own rule and go for the calorie buster but good eating really all beef hamburger with artery killing deep fried french fries! Today was the day and I went for what I know that would be the 840 calorie hamburger accompanied with the 950 calorie regular fries. That would be almost 2000 calories in one sitting for dinner. That is the reason I can only break my rule like this maybe once every quarter. I definitely will spend an additional 15 minutes in the gym for this. The food is definitely worth it though. I waited less than five minutes, and soon enough my order was prepared. They used to have great peanuts for the taking and peeling right on the dining room floor, but I guess that the stoped doing that. I found a clean table and !a aged to finish-off about half of the burger, and all of the fries of course. Right after I picked-up my order a group of about 20 students showed up, so I felt like I dodged a bullet on that one. Food was awesome...

On Saturday evening, January 27,2024, me and my spouse was racially profiled while coming in that evening just to USE THE RESTROOM. Now a a fellow restaurant industry worker I understand that you only want paying patrons using your facilities and trying to reduce the homeless people from entry , but I’m a pregnant woman just trying to use the restroom. All of the workers refuse to give me the code to the restroom that I had to ask a customer for the code. And the saddest part is I was profiled by a staff of African Americans( all skin folk ain’t kin folk).And I wanted to purchase food but none of the staff members had on gloves or following food safety protocols,I’ll never come here again to use the restroom or purchase anything from you all. I hope the district manager sees this review and gives this entire store a “clean house”. Just rude and dismissive staff that are lazy. DO NOT EAT...

Extremely poor service. The lady at the front didn't even bother to greet me. I had to initial a hello in which she hesitated to respond to. We had traveled all day long and were hoping to use the restroom which we couldn't because it was filthy. I had asked if a restroom service can take place as there was urine all over the seats and floor, she literally looked at her colleagues and didn't even bother to respond to me as I and my children stood there waiting for a response. Honestly, we don't just go to a place for food but also for the service they provide. On top of this, our good took forever!!!
