My first experience here and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. I usually order a plain black the first time I visit a coffee shop to taste the natural flavor of the coffee and it was a bit watery. I think the coffee itself would taste pretty good if it werenât watered down.
I asked the cashier about the origin of the coffee and she said it was from a local roaster. When I asked which one, she said she wasnât allowed to say. Iâd never heard of this. Usually baristas and cafĂŠs are proud of their roasters and want their customers to know the quality of the beans, etc. All she could tell me was that is was of Mexican origin. The 24 oz also had 5 shots, yet was more expensive, meaning it costs MORE to add 7-8 oz of water? I wanted a 12 ounce 2 shot, "standard everywhere else in America" Americano. We could tailor the 16 oz with less shots, but no price alteration...ok.... But that Americano was not the 3 shots chosen, and was one of the weakest, watery espresso type coffees ever. To come here on vacation for my family and the Holy Spirit leads me here was such a BLESSING!! Please dont change a thing.
