Kingfisher — Restaurant in Washington

I was there recently for bingo and in the middle of the games, a guy (who had clearly been over served) started with two guys who were there with a female friend. The drunken guy was saying he was being threatened and then made rude comments to the female. One of the guys was ready to confront the guy if he kept saying stuff. The bartender was right there and did nothing. There was a doorman but he was nowhere to be found. This place IS NOT SAFE. I will never go back and will tell my friends to avoid it. Stumbled (not literally) upon this bar after seeing a sign that said free popcorn. It was certainly a good advertising pull as the group I was with decided to stop in. The vibe, the music, and the clientele was not obnoxious and the board game options were endless.

The bartenders were extremely welcoming and the endless amount of popcorn we ate (we did tip each time) was great because they offer several different toppings.

Whoever came up with the idea of a bar that let's you bring your own food and serves free unlimited popcorn is a genius. The beers are fantastic (and affordable) across the board, and I think my friends and I have drank at least half their selections through our combined efforts by now. The menu also does a great job describing and categorizing each beer, which is SO helpful if you're not familiar with every brand or microbrew from wherever.
