I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the unprofessional and disrespectful service my mother received at the Starbucks in Weaverville on Thursday, July 3rd at around 9:30 AM. My mother, who is Asian, ordered six drinks under the name “Que", including a Refresher, several standard drinks, and an Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte. Shockingly, instead of receiving the usual lavender latte, the cup was filled with excess water and what appeared to be leftover residue—something I have never encountered anywhere else in the U.S. This was not only careless but felt blatantly disrespectful.
