I ordered 2 sandwiches for delivery - 1 Saigon Special banhmi and 1 Lemograss Chicken banhmi. Lemongrass chicken was so salty and dry and saigon special was slighyly better - also too salty as well. I think the pickled carrots were way too sour and salty that ruined the taste of the whole thing. I would give saigon special 2 stars and lemongrass chicken 1 star because the meat in saigon special definitely tasted better than lemongrass. Lemongrass chicken was a disaster. Service was great (5/5) but I do not believe that this place is authentic (so they get 2 stars). There were several factors that lead me to this conclusion. 1). My Phô was served in a ramen bowl. 2). My Phô came out dressed already. I’ve been to a few Phô restaurants and NEVER did the Basil, Lime, Onion, and Jalapeños come in the dish already. 3). It lacked flavor.
